Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary is one of the most beautiful church in Banská Bystrica. In church from the 13th century are elements of Roman, Gothic and Baroque style and also very nice alat from the 16th century is masterpiece of Master Pavol from Levoča. At first we were disappointed but later one kind man opened it for us so we were lucky and saw inside of church but unfortunatelly it is not allowed to take a photo.

Europa Shopping Center je najväčšie nákupno-zábavné centrum v Banskobystrickom kraji. Jeho atraktívna poloha ho vopred predurčuje na to, aby bolo obľúbeným centrom nákupov, oddychu a zábavy v širokom okolí. Okrem viac než stovky obchodov tu nájdete multikino so šiestimi sálami, rýchle občerstvenie aj reštaurácie. Značné zastúpenie majú služby, najmä finančného charakteru. This monument represent thank of Slovaks (and our brothers Czechs) to the Red Army, whose soldiers gave their lives in fight against Nazi of the Third Reich. Although today many young people rather do not understand the importance of defeat of fasism and take everything for granted, this black obelisk stands in the center of the square to commemorate people who liberated us.

Historical pillar placed on the upper part of square illustrates view to center of town. Very popular for meetings of people or taking of pictures.
