I lived in Fort Kochi for a year from 2019 - 2020 and did yoga every morning with Joseph Sham. In the beginning I had a lot of health issues and was pretty inflexible but by the end I had advanced my practice so much that I actually did my 200 hour yoga teacher training with Joseph. Incredible really. His patience, understanding and supportive nature is what I love the most. He really took time to help me on my journey, not just physically but with mental and emotional challenges too. He has such a warm heart and caring nature and is now a friend for life. I really can’t recommend his yoga enough - perfect for literally any level; beginner to advanced. It’s also worth saying that his aerial/anti-gravity yoga is amazing. I couldn’t even sit on the swing in the beginning but slowly he encouraged me to give it a go, and now I can’t live without it.

The cuisine is mostly local and the skillful lady of the house leads the cooking activities. Being a traditional agrarian household, lavish meals are more or less the norm and pretty much a way of life on this farm. You will be part of the cooking team. Enjoy the unique cuisine India’s south-west has to offer.

I am so glad I asked Ohm Retreats to put together a tailored journey through Kerala. From the tea plantations in Munnar to the backwaters of Poovar the service was EXCELLENT. Antonella and Bhola were able to help with a lost document problem quickly and professionally. This is why it is so important to have people with local knowledge organising your itinerary. I will book travel with this company again.

Would love to tell about our Trivandrum walking tour, but there wasn't one. Guide never showed. No email, no phone call, no notice, nothing. Called Yo Tours from the location and they said they had messaged me a few minutes earlier through Tripadvisor -- but we were already on site, having hired a car to drive us 45 minutes for this thing. Not good.
An exciting excursion that is a blend of the finest cuisine, historical and cultural experience of Fort Kochi. Fort Kochi is a quaint suburb in Kochi, popularly known as the Queen of the Arabian Sea, a historical city tucked on the western coast of Kerala. This excursion is designed to offer patrons an insight into how Kochi (or Cochin, as it was formerly known) became a cultural hotpot with the Anglo Indians, the Portuguese, the Dutch, the English, the Syrian Christians and even the Jews making it their home.

One of the best and most fascinating guided tours I have ever been to! Deepak took us behind the scenes and we really felt we got close to Old Delhi in just a few hours. Deepak was very nice and knowledgeable, open to questions and delivered the interesting facts without a need to show off. Highly recommended!
