The stud (lately named Zlynski) was founded in early 1870 by passionate lover of horses, a councilor of State, Vasily Nikolaevich Telegin. The stud had moved twice, till in 1903 it finally settled in the village Zlyn of Zlynsky volost of Bolhovsky district of the Oryol province.
