What a fabulous hosts Leslie Waters and her team Caz and Steve were today for our Divas demonstration lunch. It’s great entertainment as well as a teaching forum and of course the bonus of eating it all after. Double yum! I’ll definitely be making all the delicious foods demo’d today. Lesley and Caz were so friendly, approachable and informative you felt you were in a chum’s kitchen. Absolutely lovely day, I’ll definitely be back for more. Pleasure to share the day with Penny, Betsy, Helen, Rosemary, Jacky, and Amy.

Amazing class and top staff. I did the artisan bread making class and I can say was fab! Dez, Amy and the boys were very friendly and professional. Dez shows us how to make tasty bread and especially made it look nice! We had lunch and we took home all our creations. Thank you Flavours School of Cookery for the experience!

I joined Dawn’s classes back in 2019 and have learnt so much in a fantastic friendly atmosphere. Dawn & her team are so talented and explain things in a way that is easy to follow. They are helpful and lots of fun. I never thought I could churn out cakes that look so good.

Cookery school with rooms set in an area of outstanding natural beauty on the Dorset and Wiltshire border.
As relatively novice Aga users, we decided that we really needed some tutoring as to how to make best use of our Aga. We found All Hallows on line and, as a Christmas present to ourselves, we signed up for a one day personalised Aga course, topped and tailed by b&b in the All Hallows farmhouse. Prior to going, Lisa emailed to ask what we would like to particularly focus on - and it was great to have the course so personalised. And what a great decision! The farmhouse is in the beautiful village of Wimborne St Giles and we were warmly greeted by Lisa as well as tea and cake. We were very comfortable with a large bedroom (such a comfy bed) and ensuite plus our own lounge with a massive log burner. On our first evening, we had a lovely platter of cheese and charcuterie in front of the fire - really peaceful and relaxing. A tray of tea, coffee and biscuits outside our bedroom door preceded breakfast - needless to say the delicious smell of bacon from an Aga breakfast greeted us on the stairs! Encouraged by Lisa, we walked into the village after breakfast to see the views of the watercress beds, the church with its Shaftesbury connections, snowdrops and pretty thatches, while Lisa did the final prep for our cooking day. Back to the farmhouse kitchen - and we had a brilliant day of Aga cooking, advice and tips. All sorts of techniques were learned and practiced as we made a beef casserole, pate brisée, a quiche, English muffins, white rolls, choux pastry, profiteroles, a Swiss roll and more - Lisa was so keen and enthusiastic to share her knowledge from years of Aga experience. No questions were too small and we have come away, not only armed with recipes annotated with our notes, but also 'caught' enthusiasm, loads of ideas and a better understanding as to how to make full use of our Aga. Dinner was our delicious (even though we say it ourselves) casserole and profiteroles which we shared with Lisa and Stuart in front of a fire in the dining room - a very convivial evening. Another yummy breakfast - this time, our English muffins with smoked salmon, poached egg and hollandaise. If you want to learn to make best use of your Aga, whatever your previous experience, Lisa will be sure to personalise your course - highly recommend!

For both day courses I felt comfortable in a real learning experience thanks to the skill in the tuition and concern for individual improvement in a reassuring and friendly environment. The day was busy and full, with lots of techniques on display. There was plenty of opportunity to learn both new skills and some delicious recipes to replicate at home. I thoroughly enjoyed both days and came away knowing I had more skills tips and techniques to make home cooking move up a few gears. Two excellent experiences.
