A resort with multiple assets and mild and temperate climate At the gateway to the Regional Natural Park of the Bauges Massif, in Savoie, Aix-les-Bains is next to the wild coasts of the largest natural lake of glacial origin in France, Lake Bourget. The Thermalism is part of the historical and cultural heritage of the city and reveals its benefits in the heart of a generous nature. City with romantic charm that inspired Lamartine many poems. At the forefront of thermal research, Aix-les-Bains is home to a large medical community whose quality is recognized in France and abroad. The Rheumatological and Thermal Research Center, unique in France, works in close collaboration with the spa establishment to guarantee the effectiveness of treatments and to support the National Thermes in a process of permanent innovation. The caregivers, true spa specialists, qualified and trained continuously.
Very nice place, welcoming, warm and friendly. Don't forget your flip flops, swimming hat and swimming shorts (not beach shorts) if you do forget something don't worry all can be provided (with a small charge, of course) We had a duel massage which we both really enjoyed ????????. As well as the indoor pool, spa, steam room and sauna there is also an outdoor pool and sun bathing area. We didn't eat there so I can't comment on the food even if it did look nice. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
The Janssen is the ideal observation point to marvel at the ever-changing magnificence of the Mont-Blanc. Here you can snuggle in a book or two and contemplate the landscape while enjoying a glass of wine or a cocktail. The perfect haven to relax in a tribute to the great history of Chamonix and its adventurers.
