On this tour, we enjoy a variety of foods that are unique to the city along with a local German beer. We share the history, the stories and the folklore behind these famous dishes. Hear stories about the German immigrants, their food and customs that left a lasting impact on Cincinnati. Stroll through Findlay Market and hear the story of the oldest urban market in Ohio. See and hear stories about Washington Park, Music Hall, Crosley Square and City Hall. Experience colorful multi-story murals. Enjoy dining at a variety of local restaurants and enjoy a local craft beer. Receive a food guide with map and advice from a local host who knows the city. Brewing high quality beer was an art form to many Cincinnati breweries and the buildings that housed their operations needed to be an extension of this passion. This tour shares the evolution of the brewing industry through the size, complexity, and architectural grandeur of the city’s historic breweries. We follow the Brewing Heritage Trail and marvel at the many remaining 19th and early 20th century structures, while sharing stories of those who built or doomed these brewing empires during beer’s industrial revolution. Tours include a visit into the vast subterranean lager cellars of the historic (non-operating) Jackson Brewery.

We enjoy a sample of wine and craft beer plus visits to 5 local restaurants. It’s the perfect combination of dining in a charming and memorable setting with your own professional guide. Hear interesting stories of the history of the area and view the 100 ft clock tower and glockenspiel. Food servings are ample and equivalent to more than a meal.  This is an easy walking tour.  Street parking is free.
