The Cridford is set in the idyllic village of Trusham in the heart of the Teign valley. We have no street lights and it is very quiet. We do have WIFI access. All rooms are ensuite and all have tea/coffee making facilities and televisions.Teign room has a double bed and a day bed so it can sleep a family of three.
Breakfast was excellent as was all the food, Very quick service when waiting for food and drinks to arrive. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Really quiet at night for sleep quality once the bar closes. I chose this place as it seemed to be somewhere to chill out and relax and it did that really well.

The Barn Owl is a charming 300 year old farmhouse. This Inn offers a fantastic atmosphere to enjoy a meal and drink. It is located on the outskirts of the English Riviera, midway between Torquay and Newton Abbot, making it ideally situated for you to enjoy the many attractions the area has to offer. Our redevelopment saw the Inn become being restored to it's former glory showing off it's charm. The Barn Owl serves a great selection of traditional English Fayre which on sunny days and warm nights can also be enjoyed alfresco-style in the garden. The ancient market town of Newton Abbot is just a couple of miles away, as is the English Riviera and the three resorts of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. If you are keen on horse racing, Newton Abbot has its own racecourse and it is only a short but pretty car ride to the Dartmoor National Park which you can incorporate en route with a visit to Stover Park. For those who enjoy shopping, the famous Trago Mills shopping centre is just a few miles away. Next time you are passing, why not pop in for a quality pint or delicious meal. We hope to see you soon.
Visiting friends so needed a dog friendly hotel in the area. The staff were very helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived and the Sunday lunch was delicious! The room was lovely, newly decorated and spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Would recommend the breakfast too. Thank you to all the staff at the Barn Owl Inn for a lovely stay…we wouldn’t hesitate in booking this again in the future.

I travel a lot and having lived in the area for some years, knew the pub/restaurant but didn’t realise they offered accommodation. Not entirely sure what to expect, when I arrived (late), I was taken to a lovely room. The space was spotless with soft bed linen and towels. Nice toiletries and plenty of tea/coffee etc. Plenty of power points and also next to the bed which most hotels don’t do, much to my annoyance. TV offered several channels (unlike my Mecure hotel tonight), lovely and warm and a quiet location. The only downside was my WiFi wouldn’t connect as it wasn’t ‘secure’. I asked for just toast and coffee in the morning and the lovely lady (thanks for the chat!), went over and above, offering me a take out which was perfect and very convenient for me. I loved my little bottle of milk on the doorstep in the morning ?. Thank you. See you again!

I spent a wonderful night in this secluded B&B in picturesque Devon. Sally, hostess made me feel so welcomed on my arrival. She showed me all the amenities at my disposal, gave me the Wi-Fi code and allowed me to settle in with the knowledge she was not far away if needed. Breakfast the next day was a sumptuous traditional full English breakfast. Fruits, yoghurts, cereal, freshly squeezed orange juice, tea and filter coffee were also available. Eating breakfast in the conservatory overlooking the glorious landscape was a wonderful way to start the day. Yarningale is a tranquil and picturesque location, comfortable accommodation and a wonderful hostess. What more could you want! Definitely worth the price!

Whilst travelling we stopped for a night at Sladesdown Farm after reading all the good reviews and definitely were not disappointed! We stayed in Apple Room which was spacious, spotlessly clean, had a large television and a very comfortable bed. Esther was very welcoming and friendly and served us a delicious breakfast the following morning. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and left fully relaxed to continue our journey! When we return to this area again we would look no further than Sladesdown Farm and would highly recommend this B & B to anyone looking for somewhere to stay!
