Can't see any recent reviews for this restaurant which also appears to be a hotel. We eat there prior to taking the ferry. The dining area was bright airy and decorated in a contemporary style. Service was prompt and efficient. The food was well prepared, fresh and tasty. Reasonably priced.

4 star Hotel style rooms, B&B Guest Accommodation with ample private off road FREE parking. near the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, and only 500 metres from the Fishguard ferry port to Rosslare. All rooms are en-suite with free wifi, hospitality tray and flat screen Smart TV's. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, business guests, short stays, long stays and overnight stays for ferry passengers. Owned by husband and wife team, Jacqui & Peter. We also now have 2 ground floor rooms, one of which is wheelchair accessible.
We stayed overnight at the Ferryboat before taking the ferry to Ireland, and it was the perfect place for a good night's sleep before onward travel. The room was very comfortable and clean, and breakfast was good (special mention to the fresh fruit salad!). Location wise you couldn't ask for more, having its own car park and being a short walk down to the pub for dinner, as well as being just minutes from the ferry. Would definitely stay here again for a similar occasion.

Situated in the picturesque village of Goodwick, within easy walking distance of Fishguard Harbour, the Glendower Hotel is a friendly family run hotel with a traditional bar and a genuine local atmosphere.
booked this hotel on the 18th of May for a night to stay in the 27th of May during our Thursday-Sunday South wales Road trip. Everyday, we planned to stay at a different place as we wanted to go around the area. I received a call on Wednesday, one day before we started driving, but I missed it. On Thursday, I received another call while driving from Cambridge to our first destination, so 1 day before we were supposed to stay at this hotel. The person sounded quite frustrated and literally said this to me: "I wanted to tell you that there is a problem with your booking. We don't have a space for you." I'm like, what? "Uh well I did call you yesterday. There is an issue with the booking system. We don't have space for you. Sorry. Bye." Now, technical issues are real and can happen, no problem with that. But when there is such an issue, I'd expect the person to direct the customer towards a possible solution to save their trip instead of just saying you can't stay here, I don't care ok bye. Normally and ideally, as an owner or the employee of the place, you'd try to help out the customer to find a place for them to stay or direct them to somewhere you know, you'd try to accommodate them somehow. At least share information on which hotels are available etc. So many ways of helping people, who by the way got screwed up by this issue. I will make sure everyone knows about this. FYI

Sue & Mike were so welcoming. Breakfast was stunning & the room was spotless. I Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend & would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area. I was met with a huge smile & welcoming manner after a long day of driving. Bed was so comfortable. The view from the front of the building over looking the sea is breathtaking. Very knowledgeable owners of the local area & full of helpful tips & advice. Big thumbs up from me ?
