I have just returned from a fantastic holiday at the Gaia Palace where I stayed with my partner, two teenage daughters and two friends. The hotel is fantastic - three amazing swimming pools, comfy sun beds and extremely clean throughout. The hotel staff are brilliant - nothing is too much trouble and they make you feel welcome all the time. The barmen are great - Dimitris, Addy and Kevi constantly keeping you filled with drinks and entertained. The food was delicious - fresh, tasty with lots of choice. The salads were fresh and there was always plenty of fish, meat, vegetables etc. I have one very fussy teenage daughter who loved all the plainer food too - there’s chips, spaghetti bolognaise etc for anyone who doesn’t want anything more adventurous. The ice cream is amazing - The best I’ve had on an all inclusive holiday! The hotel is extremely well run, and go over and above to help with anything you ask. There is a gym well equipped with weights for anyone who likes to train on holiday, and a great spa too. An absolutely brilliant experience and I would highly recommend.

Gaia Royal Hotel is a very large holiday resort in village style at high class category offers magnificent vacations. It is situated at the holiday resort Mastichari, only 100m from the long sandy beach and about 5km from the fishing village Mastichari, where many taverns, bars and shops are situated.
First of all we wanted a cheap week away in the Sun ? with the family & we got that! Good points … Reception lady Maria very helpful with all our questions. Rooms good clean & tidy new towels every day we were opposite the reception area so close to the restaurant. Pools 3 of them but we used the one nearest reception as had more of a holiday atmosphere all clean & tidy. Zcezana at the pool bar very polite & helpful. Beach clean & tidy but quiet with great views of the other islands & Turkey. Hotel bar Ferut & Giogios very polite & good fun with good service. Restaurant we ate here all the time & the food was good to our taste with some variations of the menu, Chinese night was our best. Entertainment on some of the nights but not every night, so we made our own entertainment. Day activities limited but Luic was very polite & helpful, we did Boccia, mini golf & darts. Area’s for improvement … The Beach you have to pay for Sun beds & drinks which is disappointing especially when one night we had a beach party & you still had to pay for the drinks even though all inclusive??? Entertainment was limited & not great I have seen a lot better both in the day & at night. Finally yes there is mosquitoes ? it is Greece after all so take some spray for yourself & in the room ? Also recommend a day trip to Kos Town & the Lido water park.

High standard services, beachfront facilities and an awarded roof-top bar, are some of the reasons that will make this hotel your absolute favourite. Kouros Palace Hotel is only 2km away from the fishing village of Mastichari. The port and town of Kos is 23 km away, while the distance to the International Airport “Hippocrates” is 7 km away.
So I’m sitting here on our last day of our week here and have to say it was just what the doctor ordered. It was relaxing, chilled, lovely and warm and quite frankly an incredible break. The Resort. The place clean, ran by friendly professionals who always greet you and make an effort. The rooms are good, clean, and have everything you’d want. I even found the beds comfy (and that’s coming from a guy that usually finds it hard to sleep in hotels). We stayed in room 235 which had a great view to. The food is good to. While it is a buffet in the main restaurant, it has a great selection and is managed well and the food is rotated frequently. They also have a cook or 2 preparing (non buffet fit) dishes which Is great to see. And then there are the bars. The main bar is always a fast turn around, managed by another friendly team that look after you. There is plenty of seating, good views, snacks, ice cream, always clean. Fancy just chilling with a juice and a snack or sinking the odd beer, cocktail then check it out. And thank you again to the team there. The roof top bar was we spent a lot of our evenings. This bar I should also point out is the ala carte restaurant. Now while alot of the drinks at this bar are not included in the all inclusive deal (but beers, and wines are) your be looked after by the legends Ilias and Christos who really helped make our holiday. We spent most evening here relaxing with a mojito (which are fantastic by the way) having a laugh, watching the sun go down (which you have a splendid sight of) and basically doing everything you might want from a chilled relaxing evening at the bar. All in all thank you Kouros Palace you have been great to us. I for one needed a break (being the first one since the start of covid) and you delivered past my expectations. So now a few tips. If you want to get a the hotel bus to KOS town., hire a bike or car then you need to book 24 hrs in advance. Go check out Mastihari, it’s about a 30 min walk, but we’ll worth it. Go to the Lovely Bar. (Walk to the beach, turn left and walk along the beach until you see a small building on a ridge). It’s a small place, but food and service make it exceptional. And last of all. Be nice to the staff, treat them as you expect to be treated. (Please and Thank You’s don’t hurt). They truly will make the holiday for you. Chuck a couple of tips their way, they don’t expect it but do it. They go the extra mile you, and really appreciate it. So thanks again for a great trip. See you again. “We’ll be back” Best Matt

The pool is huge and clean and there is a baby pool and plenty sun beds. Food was absolutely fine for us and if you like the Greek food experience then look no further... plenty to choose from and wonderful terrace to eat on. The all inclusive drinks are acceptable all in all great value for money.

Nestled 3 km away from Mastichari village and just 25 minutes drive away from Kos town and 7 km from Kos International Airport KGS, our beautiful and quiet hotel offers superb views of the Aegean sea. it is gorgeous and idyllic hotel offering grate views of the Aegean Sea, designed with attention to detail, crafted with the finest materials and with respect to the natural environment. Ammos Resort is the ideal retreat to combine comfortable accommodation with the finest Mediterranean and Greek cuisine .
Lovely staff. But couple of things to note : wifi is not everywhere in the hotel and in some places including rooms with terraces there is no internet at all. Not much in the way of snacks available during the day, soft drinks at the pool bar so watered down they taste of nothing. The Gym is closed because of Covid protocols. Air conditioning in terrace rooms doesnt cover the whole of the room, i suspect July /august will be unbearable. Terrace rooms need umbrellas on the terrace. Food needs theme nights, after 3 nights it becomes bland. But i will repeat staff are lovely and its obvious how hard they are working. Special thanks to Olga who is by far the best receptionist we have ever come across

Built in typical island-style architecture Mastichari Bay hotel enjoys a privileged location directly on the beach and just a few steps from the picturesque fishing village of Mastichari at the north coast of Kos island. The small bungalows, nestled between a unique blossoming garden and connected by little paved roads, harmonically create a Mediterranean landscape surrounded by palm trees and fragrant flowers. Gently caressed by the cool sea breeze, with a beautiful view of the sea and the fascinating sunsets Mastichari Bay hotel invites you for a relaxing holiday with a Greek flair.
We loved it here. The food was amazing, the people friendly, clean beautiful rooms and the all inclusive package was great. We have two young kids and they were fully entertained by ice creams, kids disco, kids club. Definitely a great idea for families with young children.

Very nice experience, comfortable rooms, excellent food. Very clean area. All members of our family were able to find something to be occupied with. Stuff members are very nice, especially from the entertainment segment (Marco, Luca, Viktor, Leonardo, Moustafa, Tânia and Emma!). Had a lot of fun! ☺️
