With hundreds of man-made lakes, state parks, casinos, museums and nightlife and dining opportunities in revitalized downtown areas in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, there is a lot to see and do in the Sooner State. The state is dotted with phenomenal lakes where swimming, boating and bass fishing are the most desired activities. Some of the state’s most popular lakes include Broken Bow Lake located near the Quachita Mountains; Grand Lake in the northeastern corner of the state at the foothills of the Ozark Mountains and Lake Murray in the hills in the southern part of the state.
While the state is known for its many outdoor activities like great fishing, golf, hiking, canoeing and boating, make sure you don’t overlook its fantastic museums. Heading the list are Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, featuring the world’s largest collection of art and artifacts from the American West; the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City, which tells the story of the American Cowboy; and the Oklahoma City Museum of Art, which has a permanent collection of American and European art. A venerable family favorite activity is Frontier City Amusement Park in Oklahoma City, which has dozens of rides and shows.

Not many winning the nights we were there. They have a ton of slot machines, new and older. The casino is clean. The room was clean. The restaurants are lacking. The golf course is nice. We will return.

We stayed here for a long weekend and it was very enjoyable. We did have issues with WiFi, cable TV and couldn't call out with the phones. Although invasive, they came and fixed it right away. The staff was friendly. We paid extra for a room with a view and balcony. It was clean. We wanted to use the spa but they were never available to book. We even emailed in advance and didn't get a response. It ould be due to Covid. The hotel will tell you that you will be able to enjoy all the amenities that the club members enjoy but this is not the truth. They will encourage you to book a meal at the Summit Restaurant. Please don't book there if it is a special occasion. It will disappoint. You will not be celebrating if you are not a member. Read the reviews. This is often expressed by guests of the Hotel. They throw hotel guests at the bar or up against the wall. You will not be enjoying the views that they brag about at the Summit and they will literally tell you that the members are their priority. They aren't even discrete about it. In the end this is a great hotel just know that you are supplementing the elitists.

I'm not sure what is going on with this casino & resort as of lately. It is very clear that a new management change and or decision has the machines paying enormously less than usual. I have been coming here for years and the emptiness I see when I walk in surprises me greatly but, I understand once I begin to play the machines they're horrible. It is not the same, and customers are leaving. New team members seemingly are everywhere and they leave quickly, within a few months you do not see them anymore. I as well as a number of others have voiced our grievances and it goes ignored. Those along side me, tell me the same goes for them as well. When management neglects to take care of the people who take care of it. The business will surely fail, I think this place is heading in that direction and is showing signs of a bad casino reputation with neglect of its customers, etc

I was disappointed in these cabins - the upstairs loft has a mattress on the floor, advertised as a bed. You can't stand up in the loft. Smaller units than expected. The cabins were very dirty, obviously had not been fully cleaned in weeks. If you want to use the kitchen, make sure to bring your own cooking dishes, they didn't even have hot pads. I told the staff that the rooms were dirty, but received only excuses. I read all of the reviews before we booked here, and I know that others were happy with their rooms. I'm leaving this review so others will know our experience. We won't be back.

We spent 3 days there this last summer with my son, daughter in law and 4 grandkids. We stayed in one of the cabins they are decorated so cute. and everything you need is there all you need to bring is your food for your stay. We rented a pontoon boat and spent one of the days on the beautiful lake. At night it was so peaceful to seat out on the deck of the cabin. We have family coming this summer from Alaska and we are planning on spending at week there!

Very good and comfortable accomodations. Staff was extremely courteous and atune to any needs. Pleasantly surprised at the variwty of accomodations on site. Pricing was affordable and withing any budget range. Because of my cousin's fall in bathroom, may want to consider hand rails for tub and showers. Otherwise, uncident free and we all had a great time.
