We are a small and friendly hotel right on zicatela beach, so you will be able to ride the best wave of your life or even relaxing walks on the beach and beautiful sunsets. We're sticklers for ensuring your stay in puerto is the best it can be, so our rooms are spacious and comfortable, we have 4 types of rooms; standard rooms with fan and all the basics to rest. The standard room with A/C. The Plus room with A/C and terrace with sea view. The Bungalow with a small kitchenette.
Pros Very friendly and helpful staff Good location if you like Zicatela Decent breakfast Cons Noise - Difficult to sleep as the room was literally shaking from the booming music opposite. In fairness we were kindly moved rooms on request to the one furthest away from the front which helped. Woke up at 7am sharp to the continual sound of a hammer tap and power tools. This went on all morning until we left. General cleanliness -towel had a brown smear on it and the flush in the toilet didn't work at all. Rather than a hotel, its more like a hostel. Very expensive for what it is as its really just a very basic room.

Mario is a joy to be around with! His yoga classes, the meals and mezcal, the view, everything is awesome! It is on top of the hill where you can enjoy a peaceful stay and also take incredible walks to the town or beach

Rancho El Sagrado is a nice place in the mountains, next to the river and surrounded by beautiful nature. We have a good coffee plantation and different fruit trees. The visitors can do some hiking, swim in the river, enjoy our delicious coffee and food in a real natural space. The freshness of the mountain is always good after some days in the beautiful beaches of Puerto Escondido just 45 km away.
Well worth the trip out from Puerto Escondido to stay for a night or two. Friendly and chatty hosts in a beautiful and peaceful setting, with clean rooms and bathrooms and hammocks to lounge in and listen to the birds. A big, tasty mexican breakfast, lunch and dinner can be provided at a reasonable cost. A very interesting tour of the coffee plantation was 150 MXN. Good place to visit if you are in to birds - bring your binoculars (and repellent if bites bother you). To get here on public transport you can take a shared taxi (colectivo) from behind the market in PE to San Gabriel (45 MXN) and then a mototaxi the last 10 mins to Rancho El Sagrado (20 MXN). The road to San Gabriel is *very* bendy and might be too much for those who easily get travel sick!

A green oasis in downtown Oaxaca,we are located 5 blocks from the historical center and the Zocalo, definitely within walking distance of all major tourist attractions. If you are looking for a lovely place to stay with a friendly family atmosphere, your hosts will welcome you. Our award-winning garden sports fruits, plants and birds of the local variety.
The apartment is in an excellent location - it is easy to walk to the sites in the centre of the city, restaurants and markets. It is located in a quiet and secure courtyard. The garden is beautiful. Susana is a very helpful and accommodating host - she provided very useful information on where to eat and how to save a few pesos around town. The rooms are fairly basic but comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom are separated from the rooms, but this was not a problem. Don't plan to do a lot of cooking here, but you're in Oaxaca - go out to eat! We would definitely stay here again when we return to Oaxaca.

Casa Raab is a unique 40 acre country estate in the foothills of Oaxaca, Mexico. We offer full B&B services in a ranch-like setting. We welcome individuals or groups up to fifteen people. Great meals, a fine swimming pool, transportation & touring solutions, high speed internet, and the chance to stay in the country... 20 minutes from the hustle and bustle of the city.
We’ve been to this wonderful Restaurant numerous times. We always take visitors here and unfortunately this time we had a waiter that wasn’t having a good day. Wasn’t helpful , not friendly and our drinks took too long. I’m kinda shocked since we’ve always had a great time with the staff

It is located 2 blocks from the beach and right around the corner from great retaurants. The rooms are well sized and beds are confortable. The owner is very attentive and even offered to give us a ride no charge to the main road the day of our leave for us to catch a bus to our next stop. They have kitchens with pots, pans and everything you might need to cook a meal and save some bucks. They have mosquito nets on the beds and I slept great without having to worry about the annoying bites. I would definitely stay here again.
