There are so many issues with this place. First, no lobby bathroom, an hour wait to check in. Room keys had to be reset over and over. No place to plug in cell phone without unplugging a lamp. Too many chairs in the room. No vending machines. Toilet plugged and when I called for maintenance, they told me I had to plunge it myself. Do not recommend this place.

I booked this place on the road at the last minute. Usually that formula spells disaster. Thankfully, we arrived and were greeted by a very pleasant lady, Her name is Smita. While I was working out leg cramps, Smita was waiting for us with a smile. She was our first good experience here. I would stay again if I was promised she would check us in. The one time I had to call down about getting a bill changed, She was on the ball. That said... This is an older hotel, but it is obvious that the owners are making sure it is as nice as it can be. New paint, clean bathrooms and floors, very little dust on the picture frames. (Yes, I check) . There were some cosmetic flaws, but only cosmetic. Our room was clean, the bed was great. The a/c works quietly. My final reason for saying great things about this place? My Wife was clearly happy with it also. I plan to make this our go to place when we are in the Waco area. Usually reviews say " you get what you pay for". Not here. You get what You expect for your money.

First and foremost, my family and I were evacuating from Houston for hurricane Laura... and they had the nerve to charge us $85 a night for that dump. We had no refrigerator, microwave, iron.. nothing and today the same exact rooms are $45... their entire webpage is a lie...????. We paid for 3nights and left in Two...

Too pricey for the quality. Staff not very friendly or helpful. Bring your own pillows and blankets if you need more than one flat pillow and a single blanket. You can hear a lot of outside noise even over the AC unit.

Motel 6 Waco South is located off I-35. Baylor University, Dr Pepper Museum, and Heart of Texas Fairgrounds are less than 5 miles. Free WiFi available. Coin laundry facility.
I purchased 2 weeks and paid in advance. When we showed up to check-in, they refused to let us stay "because we didn't have a car". No where in their policy online or in the booking process did it say we needed to have a vehicle. The manager was completely unprofessional and rude when we tried to advocate for our stay. This should have said up front and we should have been treated with respect. This felt like discrimination. The manager screamed at us; he was completely inappropriate.

Horrible! I left a bad review on M6 website as well. We drove 14 hours straight for this funeral and just needed to rest a few hours. We were beyond tired. So why not M6, right. Room #1 The soap scum in the shower was still connected to the soap the previous guest used. They didn't bother to clean the shower at all. I couldn't touch the door at all because my grandson is potty training, I know what piss on the door looks like. Soooo maybe the cleaning lady skipped this room but we will give it another try, we said. Room #2 Looks good. Bed clean. Sheets clean. Floor clean. I have to use it. Run in the bathroom and put the top down and IS THAT CRAP on the toilet seat. What the hell is going on here. HORRIBLE. Don't do it folks. Do I need to go get a shot...
