Lovely staff, clean, reasonably priced and in a brilliant location. Osman in particular is very welcoming. The shower and bathroom facilities were more than substantial. Only issue was with the key cards which didn’t work very well but this should be resolved shortly.

This is a very good Holiday Inn Express. The room was spacious with good amenities. The beds were very comfy and the room was very clean. The hotel is also in a great location, albeit every noisy as it’s right next to a bus depot, and benefits from a large car park. The only let down was the service we received on check in and check out. Generally uninterested staff members who didn’t go out of their way to make us feel welcomed at all. Apart from that, everything else was great.

The only way is Essex - and a great way to see it all is with a stay at the Premier Inn Hotel Chingford. You'll find plenty to admire closer to home too with our own stained glass windows, a historic hunting lodge just next door, beautiful views of Epping Forest, and easy transport links into town. Take a breather wandering through the 'lungs of London', as Epping Forest is known. Why not hire mountain bikes to get to see even more of the countryside? And don't miss the splendour of Queen Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge. Then come back to some tasty food in the Brewers Fayre and a lovely comfy bed.

We had booked our whole family into stay here in June through booking.com but today got an email saying our room has been cancelled, no reason given. It was for a concert at London Stadium but now there are literally no rooms available in the area so we may not be able to go at all. Totally dismayed by this appalling way to treat customers.

My wife and I were booked to stay at Macy's on Saturday 25th November 2017. However, we were both taken down suddenly by illness one day before we were due to arrive. I am fully aware of the hotel's payment policy, but at least expected some empathy regarding our unforeseen situation. I e-mailed the hotel explaining our plight fully, but received no reply. One of the staff members did phone us later in the day to find out where we were, which was thoughtful and Booking.Com answered my mail, but they said that the hotel was responsible for any payments, which seemed logical. So I e-mailed the hotel, four times in total, but received NO reply whatsoever. Meanwhile the full fee of £60.00 was taken from my account. I continued to try to contact the hotel by e-mail, but no reply was ever received. I would not recommend dealing with these dreadful, money-grabbing reprobates and I, my large network of family, friends and business colleagues, will never patronise Macy's hotel ever again. In addition, I will continue to tell people what a dreadful attitude they have towards anyone who falls ill on or near to the day of check-in. Kevin R Pallett.
