Reviewed By Andy-from-ItalyIf you choose such an "hotel" you have to be aware that their business model is more related to organize events than being an hotel (it's seems quite an expanded business model in that region). This has several consequences : Twice or three times per week you got birthdays; weddings organized it means that you've noise till midnight to 2 am which is not ideal when you want to have restful holidays. When we stayed there, they were max 2/3 families at the same time; it means that the breakfast is not that great because few "customers". Moreover you've to be aware that the swimming pool is rather small and not really in good shape (stones on it and "holes") which can be OK for small children but certainly not for teenagers. The swimming-pool's "scale" is not in a good state as well. On the other hand bedrooms were very clean, a lot of space and very good beds. People there try to get their best to offer a proper stay, a special thank to Mario and people at the reception being always available; flexible and listening to customers.

Completamente immersa nella natura , nel parco nazionale del Vesuvio, con ampio giardino , area pic-nic , area giochi ,bar e pizzeria all’aperto in una struttura prettamente eco-compatibile .Dista 32 km da Sorrento e 30 km da Napoli. 33 km dall'Aeroporto Internazionale di Napoli, lo scalo più vicino. 2,5 km dal centro. Il bed & Breaakfast presenta 8 camere da letto, tutte dotate di bagno autonomo, TV , wifi, balcone, vista panoramica Vesuvio. Servizio ristorante e sala colazione Parcheggio gratuito, connessione wifi gratuita possibilità di escursioni a piedi , in mountain bike e a cavallo La tenuta è anche fattoria didattica

Our structure built in 1995 and tastefully renovated in 2009, is located in the National Park of Vesuvius, has the receptivity of 30 rooms, equipped with the latest amenities: air conditioning, mini-bar, telephone, safe, hairdryer, wi-fi, etc. We have a large garden and a private parking with the possibility to stop for buses. The restaurant, with a typical National and Campania region cuisine, ensures all guests a high degree of satisfaction. Il Castello has dining rooms, where guests can enjoy local specialties prepared with innovative style; also the terrace is ideal for outdoor dining. With such a variety and quality of local produce, the menu of the Castle will be amazed by the freshness of its ingredients as well as for the style and elegance in the presentation.

Reviewed By susanshopLovely and attentive staff who admitted our tour. Air conditioning in the room required a bit of a learning curve but then isn't that what travel is all about ! We ate our evening meals on a beautifully appointed terrace across from the hotel building, and breakfast buffet style in a smaller breakfast room in the hotel. The food was amazing...lasagne to die for, followed by veal scaloppine with rosemary roasted potatoes. Added interest - I heard a donkey braying somewhere in the area but didn't see it !

Reviewed By dave sVery smart hotel and the room, including bathroom, was superb. Staff on hand to assist with parking (remotely controlled entrance gates, off a busy street in centre of town). Breakfast was disappointing. Not a lot of choice, and with no water in the coffee machine. Had to go to my room to get water for it. This is the sole reason for downgrading from a 5* review.

Reviewed By Federica DColazione all'italiana abbondante e anche senza lattosio e senza glutine. Camere ampie pulite e di recente costruzione. Ampio e incantevole giardino con 2 piscine (una con trampolino), vista Vesuvio. Location comoda per raggiungere , anche con i mezzi, le principali attrazioni della zona (Napoli, Pompei, Ercolano, Sorrento, Vesuvio, ecc...). Struttura a conduzione familiare, sempre presente e attenta alle esigenze degli ospiti. Struttura Nuova ma con alcuni piccoli difetti, e pareti poco insonorizzate.

Reviewed By Elymania92La stanza aveva una finestra murata da un pannello che non permetteva ne il passaggio della luce naturale ne il ricambio d'aria. In bagno la finestra posta in posizione alta divideva da quello adiacente della stanza accanto. La macchina del caffè-latte rumorosa era posta nel corridoio accanto la porta d'ingresso della stanza con il continuo passaggio dei clienti intenti a preparare la colazione. Addirittura un ragazzino ha tentato di aprire la porta che per fortuna era chiusa a chiave. Privacy zero . La stanza si presentava con mobilio discreto e pulita. Per fortuna eravamo di passaggio ed abbiamo soggiornato una sola notte. Voto pienamente insufficiente.
