Basic hotel with few services but very cheap
Reviewed By MunichEricJThe LiveMax is a basic business hotel, fairly small rooms but comfortable. The windows opened, always nice to be able to get some fresh air. The bathroom is the usual compact arrangement. The staff were very helpful in providing information on local bars and restaurants, and we chose a restaurant nearby which served the best fried chicken I have ever had, very cheap as well. There is no breakfast at this hotel, so we made do with cup noodles and coffee from the vending machine in the lobby. 10am checkout time. This is not a stay in for a week place, but for a quick kip on the way somewhere else it worked just fine.

The best in Iyo-Mishima ?

People are speaking English with difficulty, but they are very kind and gently and they help you in any case. Rooms are decent but I'm considering only the double. Breakfast in the morning is not for wester people but with many concern could be acceptable. Very nice sushi restaurant very close to this hotel, just connect as well.

Reviewed By Trevor LI was advised to use the Super Hotel by the owner of Goyomatsu Shokudo Ryokan while completing the 88 Temple Pilgrimage. The hotel is a welcome stay after walking in the rain for over eight hours and the natural spa soaked away the aches of the day. The staff are very helpful, some are English speaking for those of us with poor Japanese. What struck me firstly was how clean and maintained the hotel is, I stayed in many Business hotel on my trip, most were very "tired" to say the least. Breakfast was both Japanese and Eastern, with a very good selection. As a Henro, I was given a free towel, and water on arrival. Rooms are comparable in size to many other Business hotel, bigger than some I have been in and clean. If you are a walking Henro, visit Sankakuji Temple (65) and backtrack down the hill to the city, you can't miss the big yellow sign atop of the building. Next day I took Route 192 towards Unpenji (66). Enjoy

Reviewed By maedu61川之江駅からは歩いて10分程かかりますが値段も安く今回２回目の宿泊。 変わらず現金のみの宿。 部屋は前回同で広めで綺麗にされてました。 夜9時でフロントが閉まり朝も誰もフロントにはいません。 夜食事に行く場合は玄関ドアに鍵がかかるので鍵を必ず持って出ないといけません。
