Reviewed By McTrixWe arrived during a Holiday weekend and the place was packed. You really need Spanish to stay here comfortably. We rented one of the upgraded rooms with Jacuzzi on the balcony. The bed was great, but no coffee in the room and nothing opened on property until 9am. It is very loud here, as it is filled with families. After closing to the public at 7pm, it becomes very quiet. There are several restaurants on premises with adequate quality food. The location is such, that there are few places to walk to eat elsewhere. The spa was OK, as the hot tubs were not really hot, more like tepid bath water. The massages were also, adequate. You really need a car when visiting here, on our departure, no taxis were available and staff was not helpful at all in helping us call to obtain one.

Reviewed By veronicaalm9052Visitamos el Hotel Spa El Gran Coral, el 17 Marzo 2022, la reservación la realizamos vía whatsapp,personal amable y atento, usamos el pase Day Pass tiene un costo de $ 200 pesos por persona, ofrece uso de instalaciones, alberca, restaurante y temazcal, de 9 am a 5 pm, ofrece servicio de masaje $ 600 pesos y área pergola con jacuzzi solo para adultos $ 200 pesos, el Servicio de Restaurante del Hotel solo abre los fines de semana, pero te dan la oportunidad de ordenar o introducir alimentos y bebidas, están localitos cercanos que pueden llevarte comida precios muy económicos y buen sabor, pero bebidas si pueden venderte, esa tarde la pasamos increíble, reservamos 2 masajes relajantes estuvieron perfectos, musica ambientación velas, aroma, para cerrar el dia pagamos la área de pergolas con jacuzzi tinas con lavanda, flores y pera, esta super a gusto por la vista, el hotel cuenta con Habitaciones y Villas para 2 hasta 9 personas, el lugar esta remodelado recientemente, aun le faltan algunos detalles con vestidores, pero nos indicaron que ya esta el proyecto en puerta por mejorar más áreas, vale la pena visitarlo, todo su personal es muy amable y atento, muchas gracias a Jessica por tus atenciones

HORRIBLE EVERY TIME
Reviewed By CnDinAZHere we are 4 months later and they’re still HORRIBLE. Tell the Las Palomas HOA: you’re a year behind with masks and social distancing. The whole time you’re here you get poked and prodded. “Put on a mask”. “Only one person in line at the lobby.” .” You can’t congregate here”. This is my last time here. Oh….and by the way, our room was switched. So researching to pick out the exact room you want is a WASTE. They will screw it up give you a silly excuse and switch your room. And then you sit there with 50 other people WAITING and everyone is upset which means we’re not the only ones with promises broken.

The Villa Slept Six And Did Not Break The Bank
Reviewed By GnarlitaThis hotel is a great value with amazing grounds and view of Lake Chapala. Prior to our friends' arrival, we looked at every accommodation they offer. The Hotel is older, but clean. Breakfast was included and was decent and fresh. Our four friends each had their own bed and the space had 2 bathrooms. Mama Chuy has plenty of places to relax by the pool, or read in the shade. Ajijic is about a 20 minutes away by cab for shopping and restaurants. Everyone was very pleased with their week long stay. Some Spanish will be helpful. Our friends spoke zero, but managed.
