First time visitors to Croatia and didn't know what to expect. Our visit to this beautiful country has been enhanced by our stay in Pucisca. Our host Jerka could not have helped more from guiding us to the apartment and providing tips on the best beaches and restaurants to visit. The accommodation was comfortable and much better than we expected having stayed in lots of holiday lets over the years. Everything we needed to cook and relax had been provided. The apartment was spotlessly clean as well. The view from our loggia balcony overlooking the village and stunning blue sea is something we won't forget. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Mladinic apartments for 10 days, 6 years ago. Mira, the owner, is so sweet and apartments well located that we wanted to come back there. The location is perfect. The apartment is very fully equipped, modern, comfortable. We could use the laundry, if necessary, and even the terrace to make barbecues if we want. When we arrived, Mira gave a bottle of a very taste homemade "orahovica". We were encouraged to reap salads from her well kept and beautiful garden. Near there you can find markets, coffees, restaurants. Konoba Lado next door is a very good reaturant.

Stayed in this absolute gem of a hotel for 4 nights and left wishing we could have stayed much longer. A heritage building renovated to a very high standard and retaining all its ancient charm. We could not fault the service and the food at breakfast and dinner was first class. It is one of those places that you know when you return you will not be disappointed. Fantastic location and the church bells added to the overall ambiance. The locals were very friendly and the scenery delightful. We will return for sure.

Positioned directly behind tourist info (next to church), this is a private one-off rental of an old-world 3-level cottage/apartment with stone walls and wooden roofs. It has a huge farmhouse-type kitchen (lower floor), complete with open hearth cooking area (plus electric oven/hob), fridge etc. Three tv’s. Lots of small shuttered windows, wooden stairs to each level. Fully furnished (incl. comfy lounge at middle floor/entrance level). One small single bedroom with door, plus two singles in open upper floor area – no other doors, so limited privacy. Full of old-world charm, with boat lamps, ship’s wheel, early 1900s sewing machine, various lamps and tiled throughout. Excellent hidden paved cottage garden and covered dining area accessed from upper floor. Very large and lovely to stay in; however, in need of a good clean (inside cupboards, drawers, upper shelves etc) and some professional management (to bring to expected standard for the €95 ticket). Few issues to list are the lack of internet connection (even cheapest places now provide wifi), kitchen drawer of old/mixed/broken cutlery (not that clean either), no kettle or coffee-maker at all (used a saucepan), not all lamps or tv’s work, upstairs walls need repainting, just two broken corkscrews found, oven works but is aged and needs cleaning, ceiling fans have dodgy electrics – upstairs worked sometimes, kitchen fans not at all, the ceiling fan blades were filthy dirty, there’s no daily service or change of towels/linen, and no free toiletries. However, these are minor issues that let it down, for this is a great find in an excellent location, and a property of great charm. Drivers: 2-hr parking just outside (50m) for luggage transfer, but only 250m to lots of free parking on open ground.
