A lovely stay in La Broquiere
Reviewed By HeirmanWe had a very lovely holiday in La Broquiere, where we have stayed for about a week. This was partly due to the host and hostess, who go to great lenghts to make the stay of their guests as pleasant as possible. This also holds for our little boy, who could play freely with the toys available. We could enjoy a "table d'hote" almost every evening: a nice three-course menu in good company. The property is located in between wine ranks, which made it an iddilic get-a-way from the city we live in. Nevertheless, one doesn't need to drive far to visit some interesting places. The property itself is clean and well taken care of. In sum, we had a great time in La Broquiere.

Reviewed By willow2728This was our first visit to the village of Pierrfeu-du-Var in July and we discovered this little gem by chance for lunch. The menu was small but adequate and the food was perfectly cooked and very enjoyable. The staff could not have been more friendly and hats off to Jan who is possibly the most hard working man and was extremely entertaining. We'll be back again next year.

Reviewed By Mandoline47Si vous devez séjourner dans le Var ou si vous cherchez un petit coin de paradis pour vous ressourcer je vous recommande vivement la chambre d'hôtes des Ânes de petit Jean. Quel accueil !! Bien au-delà de nos espérances. Eric et Karine sont très sympathiques, naturels et, ne travaillant pas le dimanche, jour de notre arrivée, nous ont invité à prendre l'apéro avec eux, ce qui est assez rare de nos jours il faut bien le dire. Il y a aussi tout plein d'animaux (chevaux, ânes, etc.) dont les 3 compères Jazz, qui ne vous quittera pas d'une semelle, Lulu, sans oublier la touchante Cédille qui sont des amours de chiens. La chambre est jolie, au calme et très propre. Le petit-déjeuner fait maison est délicieux, copieux et Karine va même jusqu'à préparer elle-même ses petits pains tout chauds. L'endroit est qui plus est bien situé, au carrefour de Bormes-les-Mimosas et d'Hyères, où nous avons apprécié prendre un bain à la presqu'île de Giens et visiter les petits villages pittoresques alentour. Encore merci à tous les 2, nous espérons revenir avec joie prochainement ?
