Reviewed By Giefe TThe room is convenient especially for family. The service were excellent. The location of the hotel is near to convenient stores and resorts. It has also restaurant that offers food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It has also its gate for security and a parking lot if you wish to bring your car/motorcycle.

Reviewed By Joanie_IpiliPros: -Centrally located in the city center -Can easily get a tricycle -Near cathedral, museum and souvenir shop Cons: -Found a big cockroach in the bathroom (really not a good sign!) -Beds feel cheap, and room felt dirty -Concierge not helpful/knowledgeable on places to go to in Masbate -Intermittent wifi (no wifi at the lobby) -Cramp bathroom -TV not working, so cannot watch anything -No available outlet in the room (i.e. have to remove outlet dedicated for TV, so can use for charging electronic devices) -Told staff that would need a room that have separate beds, but in the end still gave a room with one bed -Shower is a joke -Key card not functioning the day after -No elevator

No housekeeping No toilet seat Lumpy bed is terrible to sleep on Only one towel - brought us a big cleaning cloth as a second towel Shower drain was clogged Shower head scaled up No shower curtain No hot water Pool water is murky, would not even dip my toes in the water. Complained to the manager on checkout, she was unwilling to compensate the rate to the ghastly condition of the room. She comped the breakfast breakfast which was supposed to be included with the room, so nothing. Very disappointing, would not recommend anyone stay here. I would rather sleep in the gutter trash than pay 2500P/night again.

The Contact person of Altamar agreed with us the price already, then a day before the event (May 8, 2014) they contacted us that they will not be able to give us with such rate. Such ridiculousness! We are all ready to go to the resort yet sudden change of dealing. Staff should have Business Ethics and transparency to the guests. The place is nice but I will not recommend it to my colleagues who are interested to visit the island.. as my experience was not good. - [email protected]

Reviewed By barrc2112This hotel needs a serious remodel!! The painted baseboards in our room were no longer painted. You receive two bath towels and no hand towels or wash clothes. No bottle water in room or water glasses. If you want cheap this is the way to go. The power kept going out all night and a few time in the morning. And of course the elevator was not in service so from the fifth floor not a pleasant experience.
