Clare with its famous 13 arch bridge and 13th century cathedral, St. Flannans. Cannot recommend the hotel and the staff enough. It was our wedding anniversary and we arrived to a lovely surprise in our room ( see pics ) The lakeside rooms are a perfect way to relax. The view and whole area is stunning. The food was an added bonus.

I stayed here only a couple of days ago for one night as a catch up with my best friend. We first visited the spa which I would 100% recommend to all, the staff are brilliant and treatments to die for. We then checked in to our room which was modern, spacious and had a lovely terrace to look out at the boats and lake. We visited the bar/restaurant for food, the staff were attentive and friendly and food nice. Breakfast the next morning was nice, loved the addition of the three tiered plates of bread, pastries and fruit. Slight negatives in regards to menu are it consisted of mostly egg options along with two fry ups and didn’t appear to be any cereal for breakfast? Only negatives I would point out in general would be the need to book for breakfast and dinner during check in then the bar/restaurant was never full and when you arrived at bar/restaurant they didn’t even check if you had a reservation! When in my room on the morning of check out a man walked past my terrace and looked straight in my window, the terrace is not fully closed off on both sides. Was quiet strange. Wi-Fi is non-existent down on the level of rooms the spa is on. None of these take away from a generally great experience that I would still give 5 stars. I will return again

Blossom Hill Bed and Breakfast is located on the edge of Killaloe town in Ireland's mid west. Beautiful rooms, extensive gardens and a warm welcome will make your stay one to remember. An ideal location to tour the west of Ireland with attractions such as King John's Castle-Limerick, Bunratty Castle and folk park, the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and Galway not to forget Killaloe itself.
We stayed here for a business trip.We were working until 1.30am arrived back to the b and b then .Myself and my husband were having a sandwich and tea in our room and chatting to each other about our days work etc , then a knock came on our door telling us to keep it down. KEEP IT DOWN??? It was the owner Norman. So we pay for our own room and are not allowed to chat to each other in our own room? I confronted Norman only to be told the guests will complain. No guests where back in their rooms at this time I chatted to a few guests the next morning about this and they couldn't believe this. I stay in b and bs all over the country 3 times per week and I can honestly say this is the most unprofessional ran b and b I have encountered in 20 years. Imagine paying for a room that you cannot even talk in ?? My guess is Norman's room was below us and he wanted to sleep so didn't want to hear a little chit chat ?My God imagine if any couple were getting romantic would that also be interrupted to keep it down ?? I dread to think . I wouldn't like to see what happens when any lads or women stay with a few drinks on them and are having a laugh .I also run a business and never write bad reviews as I've been lucky with all the amazing b and bs I've stayed in , but this was just an absolute joke and also interfered with our customer and guests rights. So if you want to book a room and be able to talk this is not the place to be ?

Dating back to circa 1780 Bealkelly Country House B&B is a tastefully restored Georgian residence overlooking Holy Island and Lough Derg. It is a ten minute drive from the picturesque twin towns of Killaloe/Ballina. Bealkelly Country House is an ideal base to explore the beautiful SouthwestGuests can avail of the property's on-site shuttle service which provides transport
Beautiful location in the middle of the country, the house was just gorgeous and our room was beautiful. The breakfast was lovely and fresh and the staff were incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend this B&B and will be back for future trips to Co. Clare. You would definitely need a car to get to this property.

The staff and owner could not do enough to make the my visit both comfortable and informative the local knowledge I received was extremely helpful in carry out my business. I would highly recommend this accommodation for both long and short vacations. The B&B was beautifully decorated and added to my relaxation. I was sent on my way with a delicious breakfast. Amazing couple in a wonderful Bed and breakfast. This is a little gem to stay if visiting East Clare. Wonderful modern spacious home. Warm welcome and amazing breakfast the following morning to send us on our way. I cannot recommend Kerstin's home enough. The rooms were immaculate everything from tea/ coffee facilities, nibbles, fridge. Sofa and seating area.....more like an apartment. Apple TV and excellent wifi but really a place to totally switch off and go offline to soak up the garden and lovely scenery. This is a rare gem !!

Our hosts were very friendly. The room and bathroom were adequate but on the small side. We had a sliding glass door to the backyard which provided a lovely view of the countryside. Our room and bath were clean. Breakfast was very good....full Irish or cereal or both. A pub is located just a few minute walk down the hill.
