Amazing weekend stay
Reviewed By p_2019_tripThe panorama rooms were spacious, clean and had beautiful views of the lake. You could tell that this part of the building was newly constructed. Albeit a bit of walking until you get to the lobby and spa, this part had the best views! Thoroughly enjoyed this weekend stay for a family celebration. Good at restaurant was incredible and staff was super friendly and attentive.

Komfortable und gemütliche Gästezimmer geben Ihnen ein wohnliches Gefühl des „Zuhauseseins“ im Hotel Haus Deckers. Alle Zimmer sind mit Dusche, Toilette, Telefon und Fernseher ausgestattet. Außerdem verfügen Sie über kostenfreies WLAN. Sie haben die Wahl zwischen dem unter Denkmalschutz stehenden älteren Haus von 1863 oder dem jüngeren Haus an der Luciastraße aus dem Jahre 2006.

Reviewed By Mudge67A nice pension hotel in the lovely little town of Geldern. The rooms were clean and private and the beds comfortabe. Wi-fi reliable and fast. Breakfast was the typical European spread but selections were good and everything, including the coffee, was fresh. The room rates are very reasonable. Sleeping is very quiet but be prepared to be awakened early by the church bells that are located in the bell tower right next to the hotel! Only other drawback is the lack of an elevator, as there are no ground floor rooms. If you can not do stairs then this is not the place to stay!

Hier sagen sich nicht nur Fuchs und Hase gute Nacht, hier kann der Gast abschalten, Ruhe und Natur geniessen aber auch zielorientiert in der Gruppe arbeiten oder stilvoll feiern. Hierzu stellen wir Ihnen unterschiedliche Hotel- und Jugendherbergszimmer, verschieden dimensionierte Seminar- und Tagungsräume, Kamin- und Gesellschaftszimmer, sowie einen malerischen Biergarten vor der Hauptburg, einen idyllischen Innenhof in der Hauptburg und einen stylischen 60er-Jahre- Party-Bierkeller unter der Hauptburg zur Verfügung. Da Ihr Aufenthalt im Schloß aber eine „runde Sache“ sein soll bieten wir für Gruppen neben jeglicher Art der Buffetversorgung auch Grill- und Smoker- sowie Flammlachs- und Outdoorcooking-Aktionen an. Für weitere Ablenkung sorgen unterschiedlichste Teambuildingmaßnahmen, Bogen- und Armbrustschießen, Axtwerfen. Reviewed By colby53We stayed for just 1 night with our 2 teenage children. For an overnighter, there are lots to see in and around the castle property. The outdoor chairs and tables in the middle of the castle is a great area during summer to sit, eat n drink. The distance from Geldern makes it a quest to get there, if taxi then ok, but we took bus then by foot, no pick up offered when asked. There is nothing around as in eateries, so stock up on all kinds of food. There were bikes there, and would of been great to use to look around further, but when asked to use, we were told they were for rent only ? after traveling all the way out there, surely guests can have a ride around local area. Rooms were basic, we had 4 singles in one room, the property could do with some internal renos, but pleasant and clean.
