Reviewed By LuemooWe arrived in good time on a weekday afternoon and after my eyes had adjusted to gloom espied a receptionist hiding behind her screen. Zero welcome. Went through the usual yes, we have a reservation, name and covid check. Went to the room and fair play they are OK and clean. Decided to have a drink around 6:30 but the bar was closed - service from 8 - 12 apparently. Wandered across to the restaurant which was shut as was the 'pool bar' This place has the air of an out of season amusement park which was overdue and make over. The restaurant had very little to offer a vegetarian and was heavily loaded with duck in every conceivable form. Reminiscent of the two Ronnies Rook Restaurant sketch. If it wasn't duck then it was available with foie gras sauce........ We went out for dinner, since there was no outside seating area for a drink, no staff to serve one and the bar was closed. On our return around 9, the lights over the bar were on, but none in the actual room and no customers, yet there quite a few cars in the car park. I've watched too many episodes of Ozark; was this a money laundering operation for the mob.........?

Nice clean budget apartment type hotel, handy for work, close to a bar and supermarket, ample parking, friendly staff, comfy bed, good shower, bathroom was on the small side, fridge and microwave in the room with a small kitchen area, so very handy for extended stay. Slight smell in the room when I arrived, possibly from cooking, but I didn’t notice it on my second night, so it had either gone or I was used to it? All in all, a good clean budget hotel. Ideal for short or longer stays.

Convenient for Airbus
Reviewed By Mark NNeeded a hotel close to Airbus offices so decided to try this Ibis budget. Best way to get there is Uber 13 euros. Room was fine with soap and mouthwash in the bathroom, ibprefer soap to shower gel. Soundproofing was very good as it's next to the motorway, but I was not disturbed and I am a light sleeper. Continental Breakfast was really good, wholemeal seeded bread as well as baguettes. 20 minute walk to airbus offices on a beautiful spring morning

Excellent Breakfast!
Reviewed By SchillerOneI stayed at the Brit Hotel for 3 nights during a business trip. Checkin/Checkout was fast fast and problem free. All staff was very friendly and attentive. My room was clean, modern and had enough space. Bed was comfortable. Big flatscreen TV for those who use it. Bathroom with a nice towel heating and a nice shower with good water pressure. Breakfast was really outstanding at this hotel with so many things, sweet and salty, to choose from. I enjoyed this a lot and for me this is a reason to stay here the next time when I am in this area. Highlight is the fresh orange juice machine. Never have seen this anywhere else before. Location is convenient too. Close to the main road and just a few minutes by car to the Airport. A rail station is in a very short walking distance. There are just two things I didn't like that much. First was the heating in the room which was not working that fine during my stay. I didn't figure out if there was something I could do, like a setting on the control unit or so, but it was a bit cold all the time. (I have to mention that I didn't ask the stuff for help, though). Second thing are the thin walls, which are obviously badly soundproofed. It's not always too nice to hear what's going on the rooms beside your own. Anyway, above all was the breakfast which makes me consider the Brit as a very good hotel :-)

Reviewed By J CGot a single room @ 50 euro per night. The carpet was filty (see foto) and there was no towels or bins provided. the breakfast consisted of bread and butter with a choice of some pre packed conserves. If I had time I would have packed up, left and returned to the city centre as this was definitely not worth e50 per night
