Having launched its first ship over 400 years ago, and still home to the Bath Iron Works shipbuilders, the city of Bath is proud of its maritime history. The Maine Maritime Museum celebrates this long heritage, with 25 acres of historic waterfront featuring original 19th century shipyards and exhibits. Named one of the "Best Small Cities in America," Bath offers visitors the opportunity to wander down treelined streets, along the Kennebec River and past beautifully restored 19th century homes.

Amy and her husband are the perfect host you could expect in such place… very present when you need them to be but super discrete the whole time. Every room, every detail has been well thought up with elegance and taste to your morning breakfast table and what comes into your plate. Amy is willing to converse and provide you with any information you may need upon request but again remains super discrete. They make the whole experience so homy that you don’t even want to leave and can’t wait to go back there. Congratulations!

As a Marriott property- you get what you expect- a solid clean place to stay. What sets it apart is the top notch staff- from everyone at the front desk to the wonderful lady taking care of the very good breakfast offerings. The hotel is well situated for forays up and down the coast. I would definitely stay here again and I am a lifetime Marriott platinum- so I have a lot of properties to compare to

The Inn at Bath is a mid-1800's Greek Revival home with lovely rooms full of color and light and located within Bath's Historic District. Short walk to Front Street for shopping and great dining, one block from the Kennebec River, and only 20 minute drive to the best beaches in Maine: Popham and Reid State Parks. All rooms have private baths, 2 have wood-burning fireplaces, whirlpool tubs, and are dog friendly.
The Inn at Bath is charming, comfortable, clean and inviting. The owner is a fabulous chef and prepares gourmet breakfasts with local natural ingredients. She is warm and friendly and truly makes you feel at home. We've stayed in the Garden Room and enjoyed reading on the patio outside the door. It's an easy walk to the shops and restaurants in Bath.

My wife and I did a 2 night stay. The Tall Chimney room was cozy, comfortable and clean with its own balcony. The jacuzzi tub was very relaxing after our long drive and the home made breakfast was phenomenal! Our first morning was salmon eggs Benedict. The next morning was quiche and 'fiddle-heads'. Delicious!! We definitely recommend.
