Very nice stopover
Reviewed By Q9639OSthomasbClose to A9 motor way. Nice clean small hotel. Suites are large. Bring your own pillow for the bed.... Traditional German food - excellent taste and value. Good beer. Very friendly people. We will use this hotel again.

The Landhotel Bad Dürrenberg was opened in April 2014 after extensive reconstruction. Enjoy your stay in one of our spacious and modern rooms. For meetings, events or celebrations we offer several rooms with plenty of natural light. Relax in our in-house sauna and the saltwater pool. Children can play at the playground including a soccer field and a tabletop or they can and have a nice time in the comfortably furnished playroom. The Landhotel Bad Dürrenberg is barrier-free. We are an integration company, which has committed itself to hiring a minimum number of employees with disabilities.

Reviewed By Harald1508We have been hosted very well beginning with our first stay 2 years ago. Now for business travel, we come back all 2-3 weeks and found always a friendly accomodating and care taking staff. Furthermore we enjoy always, when we're at the Landhotel Bad Dürrenberg a nice and very good dinner. Thanks to the people there and see you soon.

Impossible to sleep with Clock Tower next to Hotel
Reviewed By kumarcherylLocation About 10 minutes from the A9 Autobahn. Location was not too bad. The river Saale flows not too far from the hotel and there are some lovely park areas along the river to be explored within walking distance of the hotel. Check-in process Was pretty straightforward. Booking made through HRS was in order. The person at the Reception showed no personality, not a hint of a smile, did not seem too thrilled to have Guests/Customers. Room Relatively clean. Was a bit cramped. Bathroom with sloping walls makes you feel even more cramped. Clock Tower next to hotel kept chiming every quarter of an hour and ALL THROUGH THE NIGHT !!! Hope you are a deep sleeper. I am not. WiFi internet Was a disaster. Lousy signal that you are lucky if it worked. Advertised as 'free WiFi'. You get a ticket with a User ID and Password that is valid for 6 hours. Breakfast Breakfast was decent and fairly well stocked. No complaints. Overall Definitely give this hotel a miss if you are looking for a decent nights sleep. Lots of things that are unimpressive and show lack of Guest focus.

Reviewed By Linda WWir waren heute zum Abendessen im Gasthof. Es war wie immer sehr lecker und reichlich. Probiert gerne die hausgemachten Limonaden. Bei schönen Wetter kann man auch gemütlich draussen sitzen. Der Service war hervorragend und zuvorkommend. Gerne kommen wir immer wieder vorbei. Dankeschön:-)

Ländlich und einfach
Reviewed By petersouthDas Parkhotel ist ein kleines Hotel in Bad Dürrenberg, etwa 200m vom Gradierwerk entfernt. Auf der Tür hängt ein Schild mit drei Sternen, was eigentlich eine Verarschung ist. Woher kommen diese Sterne? Das Hotel hat (renovierungsbedürftige) Zweibett-Zimmern auf zwei Etagen mit WC/Dusche sowie Fernseher, und bietet jeden Morgen einen einfachen Frühstücksbuffet. Das entspricht vielleicht ein oder zwei Sterne. Das Hotel hat kein Restaurant, kein Fitness/Wellness oder überhaupt irgendwelche Aktivitäten. Die Rezeption ist nicht 24h besetzt. Woher kommen denn die drei Sternen? Alles in allem haben wir uns wohl gefühlt und das Hotel ist gut geeignet für Leute die nach einer ländlichen Erholung suchen. Allerdings ist es sehr renovierungsbedürftig. In der unmittelbarer Nähe des Hotels gibt es nur ein Friseursalon. Möchtet man im Zimmer etwas Essen oder Trinken sollte man es im Voraus mitnehmen. Eine Bushaltestelle befindet sich 50m von der Haustür. Von dort aus fährt ein Bus in Richtung Merseburg. Der Bahnhof Bad Dürrenberg ist etwa 1km vom Hotel entfernt. Da fahren Regionalzüge im Stundentakt zwischen Leipzig und Weißenfels.
