Perfect for a barbecue or play the swedish outdoor game Kubb.
Kviberg is a great hostel when it comes to how clean it is, the standard, good bed, breakfast etc. Me and my friend had a room with our own bathroom and it was very clean and good. But.. they don't seem to have any rules when it should be quiet, or people just don't care.. we had neighbors in the room next door.. young people.. the first night they came "home" at around 01.30am.. talking loud, laughing and then having sex, everything very loudly. No sleep for us... The next day everything was good, until around 03.30am.. the laughing, screaming and laudness was keeping us awake untill it was time to go up. And this day we had to drive home for 12h.. not the best start... There were more who didn't get any sleep. They were talking about it at the breakfast. This is just ridiculous. This is a hostel for party folks, not for people who want to relax. Just stay far away from this hostel if you intend to relax and have a good night sleep.

Gothenburg Hostel is a family owned good standard hostel situated in central Gothenburg. The hostel is open all year around and has approximately 200 beds in 47 rooms.
Went there with a group of 18 teens, and we had a great stay. Self-check-in worked fine, the rooms were good. Nice and clean hostel, very helpful staff. Just a few minutes walk from the store, and from Universeum.

Centrally situated hostel in a lively part of Goteborg, with a wide choice of cafes, restaurants and pubs. Good communications and within walking distance to a lot of sights. The hostel offers single- double- and family rooms, as well as dormitories and apartments. We are the only hostel open 24 hours/day.(Wintertime closed 1-6 am) We are certificated for our environmental policy. We offer free high speed WiFi, stationary computers with internet and free movies every evening.
I booked online and paid in the counter at night. As I went to Sweden with three more friends, we booked a four people room without washroom. There were two double beds in the room. It provided a socket for each bed, so, you could charge your phone on bed. But, there was a little bit bad smell in the room. We needes to open the window to get some fresh air from outside. The kitchen was nice. We could cook our meal with lots of utensils there.

No communication from the ownership whatsoever about where/how to check in to our rooms Water system is very dirty and loud Not to mention the shady guests who were constantly banging on the wall and whose kids kept on crying for hours. Oh, and the fire alarm went off at 3AM and nobody, except my roommate and I started to act on the situation. Itslike people don't even care here. This place is borderline comical.

PROS: Pretty much everything. I definitely recommend this place to all kind of people. We travelled as a family and it was great! Everything was clean, spacious kitchen and common areas with lots of kitchenware if you want to cook something. The staff is super friendly. The laundry costs 50 SEK and they will give you clean and dry clothes in 3 hours. There is a shopping centre nearby with food stores, clothes and groceries Super! CONST: The area isn't super central although you have a few options to reach the city centre. Sometimes it may be difficult to find a parking space nearby and since they don't have parking spaces you have to rely on what you find around the neighbourhood. Although I didn't stay long enough to "live" the neighbourhood, during a late afternoon walk I saw some dodgy faces roaming in the area. BE AWARE to check always the messages you receive on the platform you used for reserving your room especially in regard to late check ins. I missed them and we arrived half an hour after closing time (17:30). Thank God some people let us in and found an envelope with my name with keys and everything. No one answered the phone when I tried calling the structure and I would have been grasping at straws if those people hadn't shown up. It was my bad but at least the structure could have attempted to call me considering that I didn't even visualise the messages

While I was out for lunch the first day I stayed here, my laptop computer was stolen from my (locked!) room. Whether it was the very unfriendly hotel staff, or some of the super sketchy people who lived there (permanently!), I don't know. The hotel was completely useless in any way helping me out. I have stayed at many crappy places around the world, but this must be the worst experience (even the cockroach place I stayed in, in Hong Kong was nicer!). For what ever you do, DO NOT stay here!!! Absolutely not recommendable in any way! I stayed at this hostel for a total of 4 nights.
