Reviewed By hjhainesThis is a nicely appointed apt, freshly done with modern furnishings & decor. It's in the heart of Liege with shopping and restaurants all around. If you arrive on foot with just a backpack, this is the place for you! The flat is spacious, and has new kitchen and bath. The radiators in each room are also modern with a real thermostat to set the temperature. The wall of windows in the kitchen provides lots of light (and a view of the grimy building next door). There is a tiny terrace off the bedroom (visible from the living room) but only big enough for a kitchen chair. The trouble is getting here and getting inside. The St Denis car park is nearby and rents for €14/day. No directions or photos are given showing the outside of this flat. (I've posted some) so I walked around the cobblestone block twice looking for it. It is a nearly invisible door between two shops on a side street off the plaza. Once you find it and enter the first code, the door opens onto a steep staircase. No atrium or place to bring in your luggage, just slither past that heavy door right onto the first narrow step. Hauling 6-weeks worth of luggage and business equipment up these steps was challenging (to say the least). Panting at the top of the stairs, confronted with another heavy door with no code box is the next challenge. Finally figured out the code is entered on very tiny buttons on the door handle. The management is very hands off. Texted me the codes the day before my visit (thank you) but doesn't respond to any questions texted back. This is a great place for someone who craves urban living, travels light and loves stairs. It is not for your business traveler who must use a car, has tons of stuff to haul around, and likes the concierge service at a hotel.

Reviewed By bisonvBottom line: They stole 600 euro from me. In fall of 2019, I reserved a Smart Flats apartment for the 2020 Liege-Bastogne-Liege bicycle race. Then, COVID lockdowns prevented the event and travel. They would not refund the 600 euro, but gave a credit to be used within 365 days at any of their locations. Then, COVID travel restrictions continued well past Spring 2021--Liege-Bastogne-Liege was pushed to Fall 2021. Smart Flats went silent; they would not extend the credit; they never refunded my 600 euro. CRIMINAL!

I cancelled in July (had free cancellation before October ) and 2 months on, I have not had my prepayment returned. I have contacted and company have gone silent. Unhappy as need that money returned desperately

Reviewed By pillowtesterJe m’attendais à mieux. Les appartements se trouvent au-dessus d’un bar resto tranquille. Ce qui m’a dérangé c’est la chaleur dans l’appartement car pas de clim, uniquement ventilateur. Pour info, si vous avez une grosse valise, vous aurez du mal à monter aux étages car tout petit escalier serpentin.

Après négociations ils ont rejeté la faute sur booking. Après avoir joins l’entreprise c’est bien les propriétaires de l’hôtel qui avaient annulé. Je n’ai jamais eu affaire à des personnes aussi malhonnêtes Nous mettre devant le fait accomplis le jour J. On s’est retrouvé à 10 personnes sans aucun logements sur Liège. Je déconseille vivement
