The hotel is outside Henningsvær in the only road that arrive at the village at 5 minutes walk, just before the last bridge at alternate one-way. The rooms aren't big but neither little but with an amazing view on the sea. Really good breakfast and kind staff.

Marina Hotel Lofoten is a contactless hotel. The hotel is located in the middle of Svolvær and only 5 minutes walk from Svolvær center. The hotel has both double and family rooms, and offers a simple breakfast buffet for guests. The hotel also has free wifi and parking. welcome to a safe stay with us!
Were septic when reading reviews of this place but were surprised by the stay. Short story: 2 friends traveling on budget ordered a room with 2 single beds. When we arrived we understood that we were given a “family room” with 2 bed rooms, shower room and toilet room. There was free wifi, tv on each room. Rooms were clean and kept clean by the staff so kudos to them. Hotel offered free parking which is good. Breakfast was simple but good enough with hot meal (eggs, bacon, sausages and beans) in the weekend. Very helpful staff in the kitchen. All in all a good stay and will definitely book this hotel again. Only minus is the location to the city center was a bit long in the winter weather walking.

Lofoten Suite Hotel is an excellent choice for travelers visiting Svolvaer, offering a family-friendly environment alongside many helpful amenities designed to enhance your stay. As your “home away from home,” the small hotel rooms offer a refrigerator and a kitchenette, and getting online is easy, with free wifi available. Guests have access to baggage storage while staying at Lofoten Suite Hotel. In addition, Lofoten Suite Hotel offers an on-site restaurant, which will help make your Svolvaer trip additionally gratifying. And, as an added convenience, there is paid public parking available on-site. If you like seafood restaurants, Lofoten Suite Hotel is conveniently located near Restaurant Kjoekkenet, Du Verden, and Paleo Arctic. If you are interested in exploring Svolvaer, check out a history museum, such as Norsk Krigsminnemuseum. Enjoy your stay in Svolvaer!
I gave this an average because while conveniently located in town (the hotel provides a spectacular view of the surroundings from its top balcony), what you really get is a very small room that looks and functions more like an IKEA dorm room. There's a pleasant shared space (living room & kitchen) with 2 other rooms, however it's first come first serve so I can't imagine comfortably sharing this space with other guests. Parking is extra in an underground public space. Svolvaer is a pleasant town before you drive deeper into more remote locations in Lofoten. I have the feeling this modern hotel is one of the finer options to stay in town, however I would also check out Thon hotel nearby.

Our house is located nearby the sea. Enjoy the Northern Lights in the winter and the midnight sun in the summer A perfect place to explore Lofoten and Vesterålen. Whether you enjoy walking, surfing, wild skiing, cycling, fishing or just walking through the beautiful surroundings ... Our bedrooms are small, but the dining room and living room are spacious and perfect for relaxing, have a nice evening reading a book or socialise with other like-minded guests. On request we prepare the sauna, which is in the basement of our house. Our guests feel very comfortable in our spacious living room. You can attach a phone, ipad, or computer to listen to music or watch videos (with wires or using Chrome Cast). Next to the living room is the dining room with a large table. This room is equipped with kettle, coffee maker and everything you need to have a pleasant evening. In the hall there is a refrigerator for normal use. In the morning we serve a good breakfast and if you wish we can help you plan activities. Laukvik is a small village on the quiet north side of Lofoten. This means that even in high season, it is a quiet place where you can enjoy nature without being overtaken by a tourist bus. In the harbor of Laukvik, it is a perfect place to enjoy the world's best cappuccino, Keans Beans. In the direct surroundings you can do beautiful walks, such as on the famous Matmora or in the nature reserve with the many islands just south of Laukvik. From Laukvik you can explore Lofoten as well as the beautiful Vesterålen. You can do many different trips, at our front door. We also rent out electric bikes, so you can explore the quiet road to Fiskebøl or Vestpollen. As a means of public transport you can use the school bus, but during the holidays this bus may not be available. When you arrive by plane, please contact us so we can advise on adequate transportation. Car hire is available at nearby airports (Svolvær and Evenes).
I stayed a little over a week as part of a tour group, and it was really great. Hosts Lis and Jos are excellent: friendly, helpful, knowleadgeable, and Lis' cooking is fantastic! The house feels like home away from home and has a wonderful view of the sea, with open sky perfect for northern lights that you can watch from the balcony if the conditions are right (and it's walking distance to the nearby northern lights centre). There are also great trails in the area. I definitely recommend staying here!

It smells, the rooms are tiny, beds are horrible. The fact they call this a hotel is a disgrace! There are so many good places in Lofoten, don’t ruin a magical experience by staying here. Please stay away?
