Overpriced
Reviewed By Lee19mo79I was a solo traveller and paid 55 Euros per night. The room was tiny (almost like prison cell) with single bed and built in wardrobe. There was a fridge in the room that used the only power socket.. so you could either have a cold fridge or use the socket to charge your phone. A small bathroom was attached with small shower, toilet and sink. I was shocked this hotel was classified as 3*. It is similar to cheap hostels I've stayed in throughout my travels over the years. Book well in advance to get this hotel at a much cheaper realistic price as it's defiantly not worth the money I had to pay. The receptionist was really sweet although she couldn't speak English (I hate saying that as I should know Spanish as a visitor) and the Hotel is about 5 mins walk from beach.

Clean and central
Reviewed By Guide813746This hotel is located by a petrol station right in the center of Santigo de la Ribera. It is a short walk to the beach, the weekly market and to a theatre. Breafast is continental and sufficient. The hotel was spotless and has Wifi. Nobody really speaks much English but eveybody is friendly and helpful. We booked room 113 which has a large balcony. Unfortunately it was not quite as on the photo which features plants, loungers and a sun umbrella. There was just a table and 2 chairs which was disappointing as we spent a whole week there and would have liked to spent more time on the balcony. This hotel is fine for house hunting and business trips. If you come on holiday there are other places right on the beach which would be more suitable.

Reviewed By Gary HGenerally poor and slow service. The Russian salad tasted like the one from mercadona and was an astonishing €8. I have included a photo (which we had already started eating) - be your own judge of whether it’s worth €8. The ‘secret Iberian Pork’ came with crisps! This just seems lazy… which it felt like the whole meal was. The meat was so salty. It was like it was cooked in a bath of salt, and was then covered in salt. I actually ordered the same cut of meat from another restaurant recently so I hd a good reference point. My friends steak was tough. It was busy so we assumed it would be nice- perhaps they couldn’t keep up with it being so busy. The staff were working hard. Generally a poor experience though and I wouldn’t return. €50 for two for lunch with drinks (we did have a few soft drinks). I do think the focus is on fish in the restaurant (which we didn’t have and for all we know it could have been really nice). Possibly the most disappointing meal that I’ve had in Spain so far: it felt like a €10 lunch for €50.

Avoid at all cost
Reviewed By reevet_12When I got to the hotel I booked in for 6 nights and paid for 6 nights, on the last night the owner said I have only paid for 5 night and that I needed to pay for the 6th night what I have already paid for, she was having none of it. Be very careful people as the owner is conning people!! Also the room was very small would not recommend. Pay a bit extra to stay somewhere else with better facilities.

Reviewed By michaelM1649YYI was a guest in this guesthouse three times during the past summer. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The room and also the bed were very comfortable. The location of the guesthouse is also ideal (close to the beach and the center of Santiago de la Ribera). I will return for sure. It is highly recommended.

Celle de 4 personnes dispose de WC , douche et cuisine privée. A votre dispositions vous trouverez une piscine de 50m², un grand jardin fleuri, 2 terrasses de 20m² ombragée ou non, à votre souhait. Des chaises longues, des chaises et tables, une douche extérieur... Nous ferons le maximum pour que votre séjour parmi nous soit le plus satisfaisant. Au plaisir de vous recevoir prochainement.

Reviewed By Desertnomad2The whole place was tired and dirty. Used face masks left in communal areas. Rooms were tiny with shared bathrooms. My 2 friends stayed in a shed in the garden with no air conditioning. My room had AC but no room at all apart from the bed. There was 1 foot of space on all sides of the bed!...Upon arrival we were made to pay an extra 5 euros a night just to bring our motorbikes into the driveway. Towels for the rooms were an extra 5 euros. There was no breakfast available and the bar was closed. There is nowhere within a mile to eat or drink. The manager took 50 euros in cash per room as a damage deposit which he refused to return on departure. (later received by bank transfer) The 2 other guests that were staying also complained about the facilities.

Suprised by this hotel in a good way

Hotel is nice and clean, rooms have are pretty basic, but have most requirements. No tea and coffee facilities, but fridge. Hairdryer in bathroom. Breakfast is continental, self service, but good range of food and drinks. Would stay again, excellent value and close to all amenities and city centre. Swimming pool is located across the road, went for a look and is in a locked place behind a car park and would therefore be safe for children. In its own way its quite private. Also has a bit of a play area and seated section.
