Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic and a UNESCO world heritage site, is the oldest continuously inhabited European settlement in the Americas and one of the most populous cities in the Caribbean. The city is a mix of old world charm and modern Latin flair. Its medieval palaces and fortresses mix with nightlife and shopping to rival any modern city in the world. You'll find pristine beaches and hidden gems like a salsa/merengue club set inside a huge underground cave.

Comfortable place Short unexpected trip that was delightful. I used sauna service and was enjoyed room service. The sancocho is sooo yummy . It rained while there so it felt empty but it was nice to enjoy pool and sauna to myself and enjoyed various Dominican dishes . Kudos to The chef and price reasonable if you nearby restaurant Near malecón they charged more and found the room service food better . Bed was comfortable and all in all woke return

Hotel Palacio, located in the center of the colonial city, the oldest part of Santo Domingo and one of the most visited tourist areas of the Dominican Republic. We are located just two blocks from the Catedral Primada de America and right in the center of all the historical and cultural attractions of the first city built in the New World. In the Colonial Zone you will find monuments, museums, exhibitions and concerts of classical music and modern art. It will add interest to your stay in this magical city.
Perfect location, just a few steps to Colonial District attractions, shops, pedestrian area. Lovely colonial style building, with gardens and roof pool. Pretty comfy huge room and bathroom, daily cleaned (unfortunately with no good gsm signal in the room ) and fresh tasty buffet breakfast served in the hotel restaurant /garden. In other world, absolutely suggested it.

The worst resort I have ever stayed in. There was women selling there bodies around the block. I had left for the day to visit some family members and when i came back they checked another couple to the room which it happened 3 times. The rooms are horrible and when you look out the room window its like being in jail with bars and the street was full of garbage . I will never come back to this resort , more like a hotel.
