At 150 square metres this must surely be Australia’s largest chocolate shop! Adjoining our factory, the Visitor Centre is located on the edge of Adelaide’s famous parklands, just a couple of minutes drive from the city centre. As well as our standard product lines, we also offer factory seconds and discontinued lines plus additional souvenirs and gourmet foods. Factory Tours Join us for a free 20 minute tour and find out about the history of the company and get a peek at how we turn a bitter cocoa bean into delicious chocolate. Afterward, enjoy a complimentary chocolate, tea and coffee. Tours operate Monday to Saturday from 9am. Tours can be booked via our website. Groups are also catered for by special arrangement. Please note: Wheelchair and pram access is limited.
Great free tour (best to book ahead) lasts about 40 minutes, very interesting, some free samples (delicious!) and you get to see chocolates being made by hand as well as machines. Then into the amazing shop where you can buy seconds (just as yummy , but not "perfect" so cheaper) and of course we bought lots of delicious chocolates for Christmas and to enjoy at home. A bit expensive but so special. Now know what to look for at the Haigh's QVB shop in Sydney :) Definitely recommend the tour and visit. Small parking lot on site.
