In Hohenberg an der Eger, Porzellanikon’s parent building with 2,000 sqm of exhibition space in the former Director’s Villa of the family-owned company C. M. Hutschenreuther, you can discover the cultural history of porcelain from the time it was invented by Johann Friedrich Bottger and Ehrenfried Walther von Tschirnhaus. Follow the tour through the different exhibitions that tell the history of porcelain in German-speaking countries from the 18th century until “Die Wende” in 1989.
