Dog Island Brewing is a True North Craft Beer Experience. Come by and enjoy the fruits of our labour, and tag along with us on our journey to take over as Alberta's Top Craft Brewing experience.
Great brewery experience. Very knowledgeable staff and a great beer selection. Despite being in an industrial area, the place has a cool vibe to it and outdoor seating is available to sample the beers. Will definitely come back if I’m in the area again.

Slave Lake has long been on my bucket list of places to fish, finally got the chance this June and wasn't disappointed. The weather was a problem for part of the trip but gave us chance to check out some of the local communities which were all very cool. Its a very large lake and fairly wide open so its really susceptible to the wind. That said there are lots of areas to explore and fish. If your into fishing its definitely a lake to put on your list.

Lesser Slave Lake Provincial Park is a landscape of contrasts. The southern end of the park consists of storm beaches, beach ridges and blowout dunes behind which are a series of marshes and wetlands. It is one of Canada's northernmost bird observatories and is one of the only boreal forest bird observatories in the world.
