Lovran (Italian: Laurana, German: Lauran) is a town in Istria, Croatia. It is situated on the western coast of the Kvarner Bay with a population of 4,101 (2011 census). Its name derives from Laurel (Laurus nobilis), as shown in the coat of arms.

Peperoncino has a great selection of quality local wines and local produce. The owner Eddie is amazing at picking suitable wines, every time i am close to Lovran or Opatija i take advantage and fill up the car.

Very nice nature park with lots of hiking trails. Vojak plateau offers stunning views over Istria, Kvarner Bay up to the Adriatic and Alps (good weather provided).

We spent traditional holiday in Lovran and visited bar for many times and always were happy. Simple but tasty food, cold drinks, good servise. In July we will be again in Croatia and surely will visit Beach Bar again. Highly recommended.
