We bought our house here last year because our street dead ends into Madison Lake. Theres, swimming, picnic shelters and if you walk around some of the trails, you can find some very private and beautiful picnic table looking out over the waters. We see many people standing along the edges of the water fishing, in kayaks, canoes, small engine boats fishing. We love to take our kayaks out. I don't have to be worried about getting mowed over by big boats. At the end by the road (bridge) you drive over is a dam. Depending on the time of the year, it is very beautiful. Rough and fast on one side, smooth and calm on other side. Madison Lake is an older Lake but it has lots to do.
