Bridgewater Wines is Brunswick County's premier wine shop and wine bar. Browse the selection of 500 wines from around the world, join us for our free tastings every Thursday-Sunday or just sit at the wine bar and enjoy 20 wines by the glass, six local beers on tap and a selection of the finest cheeses, cured meats and small bites. Open seven days a week, just minutes from downtown Wilmington.
This has become one of our favorite places. Not only is the wine selection excellent and very reasonably priced, but the staff is the best. Doug really knows his wine, Susan is a hoot and Courtney and Cam are attentive and personable. We are there pretty much every week, usually on Sundays, to enjoy their free wine tasting (they have them four days a week) and then sit at the wine bar and enjoy a glass or two along with their great charcuterie plates. It is a great place to meet up with friends, make new ones and relax. Almost makes you feel like you're in Europe. Go there. Eat, drink and be merry!

The New Seaglass Salvage Market, now in Castle Hayne is located on Castle Hayne Road with easy access from I-40 and also from Wilmington. There is a nice sized parking lot that is paved and plenty of rooms to walk through once you are inside. My wife and I walked around to check out this nice and open location and saw a good variety of vendors and craftsmen/women....There were antiques, stained glass, pottery, paintings, framed artwork and photos and many items that were re-purposed for other uses.... We purchased a couple of cement planter frames from "Moki" , one of the vendors and then headed on out. This new location was nice and conveniently located and made for a nice morning get out of the house trip....Something we can all use nowadays.

Played 18 holes with my wife and friends who are residents. The course is both fair and challenging. The long waste bunkers also serve as the cart paths on several holes.

A beautiful well marked trail. Safe, clean and well appointed. Wildlife, birds and views of the Brunswick River are plentiful. This is a mile long loop trail with benches and a roofed structure perfect for group lectures or a picnic.
