We create hand made pottery: functional stoneware pots thrown on the potter's wheel, decorated with various glazes, fired in a gas kiln to a high temperature. Our pottery studio has been open to the public since 1982. We welcome visitors seven days a week We teach weekly pottery classes all year and conduct short workshops for groups and individuals during the week and on Saturdays and holidays(all ages).

Before reaching Ein Hod, you can see on the right of the road a strange looking hidden building. A small sign on the road directs you to the Nisco Museum, a privately owned museum, of musical instruments of the 19th century. Nisan, the owner and collector, is an elderly man that portrays and demonstrates the history of music boxes, phonographs, organs and other instruments. He does it with a lot of humor for about 30 min. The audience can try the instruments. A great experience.

We visited this nature preserve with our 3 kids (ages 12, 9, and 6) on a day off from school. It was still very hot, so we took the short, 1km Geological loop hike. It is a steep hike, but the kids were very interested in seeing the lizards and fossils in the rocks. The highlight was finding the cave towards the end of the hike and climbing there in the shade with ocean views. The Neanderthal caves are interesting(the movie is pretty outdated), but I’m glad we did the hike first otherwise the kids might have said they were too tired. We brought snacks and water and there are shaded picnic tables where you can eat. The barefoot “sensory walk” was also a hit with my kids. We will definitely return for the longer hike once the weather cools off.

The Museum was opened in 1983 in the Ein Hod Artists’ Village to display the work of Marcel Janco. One of the founders of the Dada movement. Janco’s efforts led to the establishment of the Artist Village in 1953. The Museum lies in the center of the village
A fantastic local museum, the Marcel Janco-Dada Museum is locates in the Ein Hod Artists’ Village, which was founded by Marcel Janco. It is among the best small art museums I have visited throughout the world. Well worth the half hour trip from Haifa.
