This hard packed trail is perfectly maintained and there are few bikers or walkers. We rode the 15 miles one way, and returned, for a total of 30 miles, and never saw more than 12 riders/walkers. The trail head is in downtown Denmark at a nicely restored train depot. The trail is tree lined most of the entire 15 miles with some open farmland. There are several nice bridges over streams and plenty of benches for an occasional stop and rest. If you are not sure where to go for a bike ride that is not a day's drive away, head to Denmark. You won't be disappointed.

We stopped here the night before by chance after eating dinner and saw some huge pizzas come out. We decided to come back today and try them out. We got a 16" thick pizza and it was awesome!! Got a thin crust to take home and the kids had rave reviews for that too. Cheese bread appetizer and marinara sauce were fantastic too. Friendly staff and food came out quick. Give this place a try. You wont be disappointed.
