Comporta is a freguesia ("civil parish") and village in the municipality of Alcácer, in the old district of Setúbal, in continental Portugal, located at the base of Tróia Peninsula, along the Sado estuary. The population in 2011 was 1,268, in an area of 150.54 km².

Our school is open since 2008 and is the ideal place to take surf lessons if you chose Carvalhal, Comporta, Troia or Melides as your holiday destination. Our lessons are suitable for all ages and levels of preparation. The owners are a local couple with knowledge in surf teaching by Portuguese Surf Federation. Each lesson lasts about 1h30/ 2h and includes all the necessary equipment, insurance and teachers. Open 365 days per year! We speak portuguese, spanish, english and french. Visit our shop, some meters before Carvalhal beach and find a nice souvenir. Try as well our stand up paddle tour at the sunset! Find out the first surf school in the area and have a true experience!

This was by far the best experience of horseback riding abroad! Besides the stunning nature, we had the chance to get two very well trained and sensitive horses. Damas, our guide, and his crew are super friendly and professional people. This ride is worth every single cent - also for experienced riders!
