Raymor Estate Cellars

At Raymor Estate Cellars, we've spent more than 20 years mastering the craft of wine making, and in June 2011, began selling our wines for all to experience. Hailed by many for producing some of New York’s most unique tasting wines, we guarantee that our portfolio features a wine you have never experienced, and a taste you won’t soon forget.

This tiny winery was a pleasant surprise. Good selection of white and red wines, plus some interesting wine/cider hybrids. Also non carbonated ciders, recommend the Pear cider! Purchased 2 cases of wine and cider!

Antique Wireless Museum

Formed in 1952, the Antique Wireless Museum is dedicated to the history of the technologies used to communicate from the first telegram to today's wireless text messaging. Located in the Finger Lakes Region of New York, the Museum is just a short drive from Rochester and Canandaigua. Visit the Museum and experience 200 years of communication history. Walk through the actual Delano, California Voice of America Station Control Room and a 250,000 Watt Collins Transmitter. See the first cell phone (cell phone number 1), hear the thunder of a 1,000 Watt spark transmitter demonstrated, see the Western Union Museum exhibit, the Titanic Radio Room exhibit, the first transistor radio ever made, walk into a 1925 radio store, see the first television in Rochester, and much, much more. Kids and teens are always admitted free.

A huge collection of radios, TVs, telegraph-related items and other things related to wireless communication. I appreciated the knowledgeable volunteers and was glad they also highlighted the contributions of women.

Noble Shepherd Craft Brewery

We are a nano brewery located in the heart of the Finger Lakes region. We're just minutes from Honeoye Lake and Bristol Mountain. All of our beer is made in house while sourcing as many local ingredients as possible. Cozy atmosphere with live music and the occasional food truck.

Right next to the Wizard of Clay you can find this hidden gem on rte 20A going east towards Bristol. Even though they are a small brewery, they make fantastic beers. Especially Fridays they have Thai food... Highly recommended for the beer and the food.

Our family had visited this place last fall while camping. We brought friends back this year, and stopped to show them this unique stop. We all enjoyed the pottery and the atmosphere. The worker was friendly and helpful. Everyone in our group bought memorable creations. We plan on coming back closer to Christmas to buy locally made, unique items for gifts. Love the wizard!

First, as other's have noted, this really would be more aptly titled their Finger Lakes location as it's much closer to Canandaigua than Rochester. That said, on a cool summer evening, it can't be beat. There is plenty of seating on the hillside outside. Bring a hat and sunglasses, though, if you can't get an umbrella. It can get quite toasty quickly. It is family-friendly outside. My spouse and I have actually been to this location several times, both pre-COVID and after, and I have to say that, if this is your style of beer, you won't be disappointed. We make a point to go every time we visit the region. We have tried multiple different beer offerings and have always walked away with cans-to-go. The vibe is a tad out of character hipster for this part of New York, but this is a place that appeals to the micro craft type.
