From the first moment we were entertained with true Newfoundland fishing stories, a cleaning of a cod, an amazing underwater viewing of the numerous fish under the dock, and a walk along his wharf that is full of camera opportunities! Sorry to say goodbye, but do pick up a copy of his poetry, Outport Home, in their packed full of wonderful moments of Newfoundland....including the Ugly Stick!

Short drive from the center of town, plenty of parking and good viewing platforms to view the coastline. Great ice cream spot inside the lighthouse too!
