I had just had a nasty fall when we went to the information centre to get the directions to the Little Blowhole. The staff were very concerned and sat me down and got some ice to help with the bruising to my chin. It was totally unexpected but very much appreciated. And we did find the Little Blowhole thanks the lady's directions which she gave my husband before continuing on our journey.

We had parked up by the lighthouse and after looking at the Blowhole decided to walk down around past the ocean pool to the harbour. The harbour is protected by a break wall and it where you find the fishing charter boats and dive boat. There is also the fishing Co Op where you can buy your fresh seafood. A nice walk and very picturesque.

This is a must visit destination. On a clear day you can see forever!!! Well worth the short drive from Kiama or Jamberoo, through beautiful dairy farming country-side.

The Kiama Farmers' Market is a genuine farmers market that is held EVERY Wednesday in Coronation Park at Surf Beach, Kiama. The market is open from 2-5pm in winter (April - September) and from 3-6pm in summer (October - March). The aim of this farmers market is to promote fresh produce and artisan made food/beverage products from local producers.

Kiama Seaside Markets operates every 3rd Sunday, our unique collection of stalls is a must do while in the area. Kiama also offers a fantastic selection of cafes, gifts and fashion retailers all within close walking distance of the markets.
We had a lovely day trip to Kiama Markets on a sunny winter's day. There were many stalls set up around the Kiama Harbour. Lot's of interesting stuff to see. We strolled around the stalls and then had lunch in the park and coffee at the cafe up by the Kiama Blowhole.

My young children (4 to 9 years of age) could have spent a whole day here at low tide exploring the rock poles - obviously under the close supervision of responsible adults. At high tide, you can hear and see the water shooting up the hole in the rocks - quiet mesmerizing at times. Not as much safety fencing around, so be aware.
