In the heart of the glorious New Forest, Beaulieu is one of the South's top visitor attractions. Here you will find the National Motor Museum, home to over 250 vehicles telling the history of motoring. You can also visit Palace House and Gardens, home of the Montagu family since 1538, the remains of Beaulieu Abbey and World of Top Gear where you can see some of the vehicles from Jeremy, James and Richard's most ambitious challenges. Ride on the high level Monorail or climb aboard the replica 1912 open top London bus for a fun way to see Beaulieu's sights.
A really good day out, with something for everyone from 6 to 66! Different family members enjoyed different parts of the site. The kids especially loved the playground and elevated train, Dad loved Top Gear & Cars from films, Mum loved the Palace, Grandad loved all the cars and motorbikes and Nanny loved the Abbey and gardens!

On the banks of the Beaulieu River, in the heart of the New Forest, you will find the peaceful haven of Buckler’s Hard, the unique and picturesque village where warships for Nelson’s navy were built. Visit the historic cottage displays recreating 18th century life, take a delightful riverside walk or enjoy a cruise on the tranquil Beaulieu River. Gift shop and Captain’s Cabin Cafe. Open every day (except Christmas Day).
Enjoy being by the water, watch the boats and yachts cruising by, enjoy a boat trip up the estuary towards the Solent and then a refreshing drink and food at the pub. The workers cottages are very quaint and it has the museum there too.

Our first visit here and on day 2 of pubs allowing to open up after lockdown we took ourselves and the dog for a Sunday outing. The staff very friendly and welcoming, the food (Roast Dinner) out of this world. The pizza , well you should make sure to have plenary of room to get through this homemade gem . If Someone had told me that I would enjoy a roast dinner like the one I had after lockdown then this was certainly worth the wait. Thank you
