A 10.5-mile trip through beautiful parts of the region, hauled by a steam engine or heritage diesel locomotive. Steam trains run daily throughout the summer. All our trains offer stunning views of the Norfolk coast between Sheringham and Weybourne, Sheringham Park and Kelling Heath. We have a wide range of special events throughout the year to cater for the young and young at heart, see our website for our latest programme.

Sheringham Park is so inspiring in all seasons. The Autumn colours this year have been amazing and in the Spring the Azaleas and Rhododendrons are stunning, Part of the National Trust it is well maintained and offers walks for all abulities as well as being dog friendly. It is also a haven for wildlife. A camera is a must and it is a photographer’s delight with welcome viewpoints offering phenomenal landscapes and views of the sea beyond. Well worth a visit and you will want to return.

Watched a showing of a live filmed stage performance of Kinky Boots. A real treat in these unusual times that we are living in. The Little Theatre did everything to keep us safe, socially distanced and as near as possible normal evening, including pre performance drinks and interval icecream.

High tide, well worth a visit as the waves were hitting the rocks and it was totally exhilarating. Beautiful beach, whatever the weather.

We had a lovely walk along by the priory and by the railway line to beeston bump, lots of nature to look at and nice and peaceful, there's a new improved path to walk along, lots of steps to walk up to the top of the bump but there is also a path along the side of it if you don't fancy going over the top although it's well worth the climb up to see the views of sheringham and towards weybourne one side and cromer the other..plenty of seating to sit on to rest and enjoy the scenery a must do whilst visiting.

We have visited on several occasions in the past as part of our annual family holiday to Norfolk and returned for another visit with my family on 23/06/19. We spend most of the day here enjoying the sights, scent of the flowers and sounds of running water - lovely seating areas in quiet secluded areas for peaceful moments to reflect on nature's beauty, and others more open areas for a panoramic scene. We particulary enjoyed the the fern walk and taking a leisurely walk near the ponds. I recommend coming here if you want to relax and unwind with friends, family or alone, be at one with nature, and enjoy some wonderful food in the cabin cafe and outdoor area . A big shout out to Mary and the rest of the catering team, they are fantastic - friendly service with a smile and fabulous food. We will be coming back.
