Umbul Sidomukti

Reviewed By WeeKee - Singapore, Singapore

Umbul Sidomukti is an excellent family activity to spend half a day from Semarang. There are 2 sets of hanging plank walks, a hanging bicycle ride, high netted walk (more like a crawl), ATV and flying fox. My kids are 7 and 5, took part in all the activities and totally enjoyed themselves. The compound has a Rp13,000 entrance fee and best of all, all the adventure activities are included in a Rp120,000 package, a real steal! While I was initially skeptical, safety standards and practices are good and adhered to. Entry also includes the use of a few (crowded) pools. There are also eateries inside and just outside the park entrance. To get here, you will need to drive or rent a car. You can ask around Semarang, as we did when we engaged a Grab ride, for a return ride including waiting time. The whole place should take you about half a leisurely day.

Simpang Lima

A great place to waste hanging out while looking at the beauty of the night in Semarang City. Many snacks that we can choose around. Colorful with the existence of decorative bicycle rentals that add to the vibrant night in Semarang. Always crowded even though it's midnight.
