One of my major highlights 2020 in Bali was to meet JJ in Klungkung and got his 2-days instruction about bonsai basics. I am so glad I did it and immediately was driven away by this. JJ is an excellent teacher and truely commited to the trees, his work with them over long, long time and his teaching about his art. The way he did present the world of bonsais to me, the philosophy behind it, the attitude, the care and deep love to them iniciated a process for me to also start turning found trees into bonsais and care for them. JJ has a huge base of knowledge and does not hesitate to share it all. He also was super helpful in setting me up with the proper tools and gear. Every day when I walk by the Ligondi-bonsai that he gave to me at the end of our lessons, I am being reminded of the greatness he introduced me to. He also came couple weeks later, paying me a visit to check upon the first trees that I did and gave further advise. JJ is a true master and everyone can feel blessed that he is open to share his art. Thank you so much.
