If you are into age-old architecture, then go here. Construction of St. Nicolas church started in 1290! The walls are towering. There are fascinating things to see inside and outside this place. Wonderful setting. The pictures speak to the worth-while outing to this 730 year old structure! I have several more photos...could only upload 10 here..

Interesting building. Long ago they controlled the water supply for Wismar from here and in the end made a monument of it. Very nice!

Right along the main street. Lots of parking, some fish restaurants near by. The boats were rocking like crazy in the wind. Very Scandinavian in look

I visited this church and more specially the tour of the tower, we were all German speakers but I think the guide also speaks English. We were only 3 guests, the stairs are hard but it's worth it, you get some nice views on the way, the guide was very nice and really funny, very knowledgeable, really a great time!
