Spectacular scenery, gourmet food and warm rural hospitality – the Tora Coastal Walk is the best-loved privately run walk in New Zealand. This exhilarating three-day walk takes you to private hill-country farms, river valleys, native bush, hilltop ridges and the magnificent Tora coastline – and to complete each day, comfortable and stylish rural accommodation and delicious food, carefully prepared with fresh local ingredients by the people who own and farm the land. The walk includes all accommodation, meals, maps, and access to the track. Your luggage is transported each day, so you don't have to carry it with you. One of the best things about the Tora Coastal Walk is its strictly limited numbers. Only 14 people a day are allowed on the one-way track, leaving you free to walk uninterrupted by two-way traffic. Just 30 minutes from Martinborough Wine Village.

Enjoy our wines in a relaxed cellar door environment. Take a seat, take your time and enjoy our selection of wines on tasting. Or if you would prefer to lounge outside on the beanbags in the Wairarapa sun or cosy up by the fire in the middle of winter, you can also purchase by the glass or share a bottle with friends accompanied by our tasty selection of food options.
Awesome sunny wee place to chill in the afternoon with a Delish beverage and pizza. No menu night is also fantastic, highly recommend

Established in 1980, Martinborough Vineyard is an iconic, pioneering producer of Martinborough with a commitment to the perfection of Pinot Noir. The first winery to plant Pinot Noir grapes in the famed region, today it is home to the oldest vines in the district. Artisan winemaking techniques, along with dedication to land preservation, and sharing a legacy of wine knowledge with future generations, has earned Martinborough Vineyard a continuous reputation for excellence. All of our wines are available for tasting at Te Kairanga.
We arrived to this tasting room in the late afternoon, being our last planned tasting for the day. That is usually a challenge for any tasting room, because the guests and their palates tend to get tired by that time. Our hostess was wonderful and made sure we appreciated the breath and depth of their wine selection. While some of the Martinborough wines were less than stellar, there are some real winners. We enjoyed the 2016 home block Chardonnay and 2015 Syrah-Viogner, and for dinner that evening, we enjoyed the 2016 home block Pinot Noir. Very enjoyable!
