Despite its name and reputation as a world-class ski resort, Snowmass is not just a one-season Colorado wonder. More than 3,000 acres of terrain parks and halfpipes woo skiers and snowboarders, but 40 miles of hiking and biking trails keep active travelers on the move when the snow melts. The mountain town's boutiques and casual eateries complement the festivals, free music events and rodeo held each summer. When the flakes fall again, a groomed cross-country ski trail links Snowmass to Aspen.

This is an outstanding place for rentals and service. The staff are extraordinarily friendly and totally professional. I was particularly impressed that they recommended the right equipment for me rather than the most expensive. They show a remarkable commitment to customer service and I strongly recommend them to everyone visiting Snowmass. I am a visitor from Britain and skied at Snowmass for 5 days in February 2020.

A favorite with families, this year-round Aspen resort means biking and hiking in the summer, and downhill and cross-country skiing in the winter.
Snowmass was a dream for me! Love the diverse long runs with trees that seem always perfectly groomed. Even on a holiday weekend, lift lines were manageable. Food in the lodge is well priced (except 6$bottled water) And really good. Can’t wait to return

We rented road bikes from Four Mountain Sports in Aspen to ride the closed road to Maroon Bells. The bikes were fantastic and the service was quick and professional. The 14 mile round trip from the Aspen Recreation Center to Maroon Bells was perfect for our group, who are all moderate road bike riders. It was a challenging climb to the top, but the views of the area are worth it, and the down hill trip back to the Aspen Rec Center was a blast.
