March 5, 2022 Claudia Navarrete

Portrush (from Irish: Port Rois, meaning "promontory port") is a small seaside resort town in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom, on the County Londonderry border. The main part of the old town, including the railway station as well as most hotels, restaurants and bars, is built on a mile–long peninsula, Ramore Head, pointing north-northwest. It had a population of 6,454 people as measured by the 2011 Census. In the off-season, Portrush is a dormitory town for the nearby campus of the University of Ulster at Coleraine. It neighbours the resort of Portstewart.

Causeway Coasteering

Coasteering is adrenaline; cliff jumping, bouldering, climbing, being tossed by waves and basically using our rugged coastline as an adventure playground. However, coasteering is much more than that. For many of our customers, experiencing our beautiful shallow coastal caves, hidden coves and little islands around our breathtaking coastline is the highlight of their visit to the Causeway Coast.

We booked this as part of our holiday - I had done the escape rooms themselves before with friends and thought this new venture would be good as a family activity. This was a great morning for us - we have two boys 8&4 and they enjoyed looking for clues through the special binoculars supplied by Jenny. It was ideal for us as a family to do and it brought us to places we had never been before. Our little one brought his bicycle and that meant he was able to cover the distance. Our eldest had no problem with the walk. Jenny was super explaining things to us and I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone with a young family. We will be back next year if there’s another outdoor puzzle!
