We stopped in on TripAdvisor advice, so glad we did. The person pouring is one of the owners and winemakers, very knowledgeable. The wines( we had all Reds) were very very smooth and tasty. We were well schooled in the growing and making of their vinos. Very good tour. Very highly recommend.

Went on a day-long Burgundy wine tour. A wonderful, lovely winery committed to producing quality artisan wines, my personal favorite being the Pommard Rugiens Ier Cru 2005.

We want to thank the lovely lady that helped us yesterday and explained a lot about the region. The wine you gave us was a beautiful pommard which we enjoyed to the fullest. Unfortunately due to time issues we where not able to visit the store and thank her. So via this way we like to express our gratitude and we will visit the shop as soon as we have the chance to visit the Bourgogne area again. All people who visit pommard must see the shop for sure for great wines and a wonderful explanation!

Visited the chateau for a tasting and it was absolutely beautiful. The building itself was beautifully restored and incredibly tasteful. The vineyards looked gorgeous and the cellars induced genuine unbridled envy about how the other half live - or should I say the other 0.0000001% Wine tasting was a real experience and their top end offerings were as good as anything I’ve ever tasted (apart from Michelle Prunier et Fille at nearby Auxey Duresses!) . Very courteous gentleman (possibly Etienne) steered us through the wines and opened some seriously posh bottles. His kindness and interest not to mention nearly English humour added hugely to our visit. They say money doesn’t make you happy but if you own Chateau de Pommard that’s patently nonsense!
